I had an update at the dealer today. They told me they updated all available modules but APIM 6.14.0 because they got download error twice.
Could someone please check my VIN WF0TK3SSXMMA37563 to know if only the APIM had an issue?

There is no evidence they even tried to update the APIM.

And they did not update all available modules if that's what they told you.

Purchased a new 2022 GT Performance early Jun'24. Dealer had struggled to sell an EV in a "cold climate oil-city" in Alberta, Canada. After truck-hauler delivery to Toronto & me working through profile panel setups, noted the OTA option missing from the MME user-interface panel. My local dealer updated some modules, OTA option now present on panel. To reset the MME after Dealer module update & reset what the dealer(s)/delivery guys did in the first 212km of this cars life. I did a Factory Reset via MME User interface. After that disconnected the 12V battery for 15mins. Three questions at present...
1. When will OTA updates start occurring, as never had any in last two months (since delivery)?
2. After the dealer update to APIM, GWM, TCM, the five buttons on the same horizontal plane on the UI display went from a square look format to a rectangle look format. What was visually lost from that button view on the radio button, the ability to change channels via Left & Right buttons (HD FM lost the song playing to now only show radio frequency), if Carplay was pushed you went straight back to the active Google maps but now you get Favourites and have to then select Googlemaps. More manual steps required when driving, which is annoying. Was this change by design or something gone wrong with a module update?
3. Can someone look my VIN please, to advise on module status please? VIN 3FMTK4SXXNMA47660

Your car is about two revs behind on Sync. Not too bad.

You still have a TCU update available to apply even though it looks like the tech did update the GWM, APIM, and TCU multiple times (the last times being the 9th of July).

I believe there are some dependencies at work here and you're not going to get totally caught up until other things like the powertrain updates and other stuff like the cruise control related modules and really everything else are brought up current. They can't just focus on getting your APIM (Sync) to the most current level...it doesn't work that way.

But the problem is...and it's been said many times before, Ford aren't paying the dealer techs to get cars and trucks 'caught up'. They are paying them to do updates under warranty when one of those updates would solve a problem the owner is having with their vehicle.

It has been brought up before somewhere else on this forum but I'm curious to know how they got away with selling a GT-PE with summer tires that are clearly not rated for the well-below zero temps that you would expect to experience where you live. On another forum a tech took pictures of a GT-PE customer's tires that were all cracked and he was asking about warranty replacement. Given the location of this car the answer came back that it was doubtful that they would be replaced under warranty due to this verbiage in the owner's manual:

Your car is on Sync 23297 and the Sync update that gets you to the latest (6.14.0) was sent to you in July, but it timed out and failed because your car never pinged the server back to accept the OTA trigger. Was your car parked and not driven the second half of July? It seems that way based on the few times it reported itself to the cloud.

Just had the HVBJB fix done, prior to which I lost the lane centering (no bubble) in some update. Was wondering what is the state of the car now and what was done during the recall, given the horrible state of updates on these early, early models.

As far as the lane centering goes, do you have FORScan? If so, I can look into it for you to see if it is fixable that way.

Make sure they are aware of the 28 day rule with the APIM. It has to be updated within that period or it locks even Ford out. Then you have to replace it. Dealer screwed up mine like that and even when they replaced it they had to bring in a field engineer to program it.

My 2023 GTPE (VIN 3FMTK4SX0PMA44754) stopped talking to Ford about June 22nd. I'm showing EGC 24.2.4.9 as my update. I can use the app on my phone with Bluetooth turned off to lock and unlock the doors, so I don't think we have a complete comms failure.

Am I wasting my time waiting for an update and hoping that it'll get the car talking again? The car isn't reporting anything (location, HVB SOC, 12V SOC, tire pressures, anything).

Weird. That OTA failed on 6/24, but was resent and went through on 7/2. Modem says authorized in PTS, but no codes have been reported to the cloud since 6/24. Do you have FORScan?
