Odd that of the 3 locations in WA State that Quincy and Moses Lake are so close to each other.

Does someone know the secret to getting the adapter to release now? My normal stop was full so went on to the tesla and could not get the adapter to release with the new app. The original app had a tap to charge a non-tesla and the adapter released. This new app ask for car make/model and if I had an adapter or not. It is on order and the month it will be delivered keep progressing but no adapter to date. Musk is busy with other stuff I guess? It noted that most SC require an adapter but I have used the Magic dock at this one before but this time the stations just would not drop the adapter. Guess the switch is if you have an adapter or not but that did not work at this one? Round peg square hole and back I went . That adapter appears may come in handy.

You say you don't have any adapter... It will then provide instructions to release the Magic Dock, I believe you push up on the handle, possibly pushing the button on it also.

Thanks. Tapped I did not have an adapter to a number of them. Made sure I read it a few times. Pushed up tried every move all I got was the tesla handle. When it worked on the old app it just released and dropped it? The adapter will get rid of that problem just wondered flaw or trick?

Hit info ? on the above screen and get this. I park parallel on last right. There are 6 in the middle of nowhere ; 2 other tesla's traveling together and me is the most I've seen. Drive by and no one. Not much of a crowd hence we get MD's. The adapter will solve it and know the trick.

You aren't a real Mach-e owner until you have sat at a tesla charging station for 15 minutes trying to get the dock to release while a bunch of tesla owners look at you weird.

Midnight middle of nowhere . It is my last leg that gets skipped traveling out at 100% but last charge coming back running at 80% (2 in a 120 mile radius). I will stop out next time and not charge but make sure I can release it. Going back 20 minutes in the middle of the night was not the best. I normally charge at the 50 KW at 0.43/KW as the tesla is 0.91. Problems and adventure

V4 installations are increasingly becoming the primary hardware for new Superchargers. The longer cables help with awkward parking and having the integrated Magic Dock is convenient so you don’t have to get your personal adapter out.

I guess if it stops you digging it out that is great. We were late to the game in Canada so we got all V3's which are good. Some have been retro fitted with the adapter which is better. Was back to the 50KW charger and their was a guy with a CHAdeMO. The cables in tech is always what gets you.
