Hello,

6/30 my car was disabled/locked out (doors don’t work, jumper cables wouldn’t pop the frunk, etc). We assumed dead 12v but after reading some threads here I’m suspecting it was a bad update. It was towed to the dealer who got it opened without issue and replaced the 12V. When I got the car back 9/3 it had update ECG 24.2.4.10.2 installed.

Can someone share my recent update history to confirm my suspicion? Or help prove I’m crazy and it was really just a bad battery.

Here is what your OTA history is showing in PTS:

All the updates look like they went okay as far as I could tell so not really sure. Maybe someone else who is more adept at PTS might can shed some further light on it for you.

Hey folks, before I schedule my 30k maintenance, I would like to know what my update report says. Greatly appreciate the help!

Since late June, my software update panel is displaying 24-PU0301-BLM-PE as "complete" with no other update or clearing since then. After traveling for the last 6 weeks, I realize that should be cleared out (I think) more updates by now. I have a feeling that my 12v battery is failing, but I currently have no other problems with the car.

Please, don't include my VIN in replies. I like to remove my VIN once the report is done.

Can you check the VIN? looks like it's missing a digit - should be 17 digits

Yikes! At this point I'm certainly stuck on updating. Something to bring up on that 30K maintenance, but we'll have to see if they'll push me forward enough to get updates again.

Haha my bad. 8/30* not 6/30. Died 8/30, was towed to the dealer 8/31 but wasn’t looked at until 9/3 cause of the weekend and Labor Day holiday. They got it opened and repaired same day 9/3.

Can someone please check my VIN to see if I'm missing an update for Tesla charging? My dealer is telling me that it isn't available for everyone yet and they are still rolling it out. Can't find that anywhere else online and my understanding is it should work as long as I have the adapter. If I remember correctly I got the Tesla plug and charge update back in March or April but that's not working. Also tried starting with Tesla app, FordPass app, and the Public Charging app in the car. Every combination of car on/off and plug in before starting charge as well as starting charge before plugging in I can come up with. Tried multiple Tesla locations and confirmed that they are all eligible for charging a Ford. Tested my adapter on another vehicle and it worked no problem. Only issue I can come up with is there must be something wrong with my car. I've tried doing a master reset and no luck there. My last update was Bluecruise 1.3 on July 16th.
