Congrats on the new car.Hi,
Just bought a 2022 GT PE last week in Canada. Love the car!!!Pretty sure it’s old software.
How do I best go about getting updates? From what I read it takes a while, or I can use FDRS. If I’m behind a certain level or there is a TSB will the dealer update?

Thanks!?
Your car shows the TCU modem is both Retail Authorized as well as Fleet Authorized. Some people have had issues with the Fleet Authorized status remaining, as it seems to interfere with the car getting OTAs. Likely it was left in Fleet Authorized status because it was probably in Ford's FCTP program. But you should ask the dealer to have that removed so that it is in Retail Authorized only. When you discuss this with them if you get the idea that they have no idea what you're talking about then you should call the Electric Vehicle Team at 800-392-3673 or 866-631-3788 x79969 and ask them to have the Fleet Authorized status on your TCU modem removed.
Also, since the car was made almost two years ago, if you haven't done so already you should do a Master Reset in Sync to clear out any settings that may have been put into Sync by the dealership and setup FordPass, unless you've already done that. You currently show no OTA history at all, so I'm confident that scheduled updates were not enabled while the car sat on the lot. And your car has a lot to catch up on.
Setup a daily schedule so that your car checks for updates. If you don't start seeing updates roll in this week or next week then I think you need to schedule a service visit to have your car 'caught up' because some cars have gotten so far behind that they were 'stuck' until things like the gateway (GWM), APIM (Sync), and the powertrain modules were updated to the latest revisions at least.
On a list like this you always start with the GWM, APIM, and TCU if available, before starting on anything else. Just so you know.
