Hey all!

Quick update. I reached out to the first number and got transferred to Ford Canada and they basically told me to give it a week and the fleet should be taken off because it has only been a week since I purchased it and will take time to process.

Having a background in IT and engineering I understand sometimes it may just not actually get processed so I tried calling the second number. Unfortunately when I put that extension of 79969 I get a message that says in that extension is invalid. Does anyone have an updated extension for the BEV department?

I was able to get a hold of Ford pro who took a look and let me know that they would process it for me and it might take about a week or so. They gave me a case number so I can follow up on it and they did say once this is done Updates should start rolling in!

Do you interpret this as “a lot of missing updates” or “hang tight and just wait - they will arrive.” I have a list of updates with version numbers and descriptions, and using the descriptions, it seems I have very little sent out since Feb 2024. I wish I knew this like you all do.

Do you interpret this as “a lot of missing updates” or “hang tight and just wait - they will arrive.” I have a list of updates with version numbers and descriptions, and using the descriptions, it seems I have very little sent out since Feb 2024. I wish I knew this like you all do.
I'm no expert on that. I will say they did a lot of work in April and tested communications. I've bolded the communications testing. Here's a summary of what they did in April:

On ‎4‎/‎17‎/‎2024, the vehicle with VIN 3FMTK3SUXNMA02850 underwent several diagnostic and software update procedures. Initial vehicle status checks at 7:03 AM, 12:18 PM, and 1:32 PM showed odometer readings of 17521mi and 17522mi, tire pressures ranging from 37PSI to 40PSI, and HV battery levels between 44% and 45%. At 3:53 PM, a Gateway Module A (GWM) Software Update was initiated, starting with connecting the vehicle battery to an external power supply (A1), turning the ignition to ON with the engine OFF (A2), and using a USB memory device for the update (A3). The process included selecting the USB drive (A4), inserting it into the vehicle USB slot, and following on-screen prompts until the update was confirmed successful (A5). The ignition was cycled between ON and OFF multiple times (A6, A7), and the application was finished at 4:36 PM (A8). Subsequently, an Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) Software Update was performed, following similar steps: connecting the battery to an external power supply (AA1), turning the ignition to ON with the engine OFF (AA2), selecting the SYNC Module update option (AA3), and using a USB memory device (AA4). The update process involved inserting the USB into the vehicle slot, following on-screen prompts, and confirming the update's success (AA5). The ignition was cycled between ON and OFF (AA6, AA7), and the application was completed with a final confirmation at 4:36 PM (AA8).

On ‎4/18/‎2024, a repair was conducted on VIN 3FMTK3SUXNMA02850. The process began at 9:14 AM with a Network Test, followed by a Telematics Control Unit (TCU) Module Software Update at 9:16 AM. The steps included: A1 - connecting the vehicle battery to an external power supply, A2 - turning the ignition to ON with the engine OFF, A3 - inserting a USB memory device and selecting its location, A4 - selecting the desired USB flash drive, A5 - turning the ignition to ON with the engine ON, A6 - removing the USB device, inserting it into the vehicle USB slot, and following the on-screen instructions to complete the software update, A7 - turning the ignition OFF, A8 - turning the ignition to ON with the engine OFF, and A9 - turning the ignition OFF. The final step, A9, involved turning the ignition OFF and pressing OK to complete the application. At 9:28 AM, the Connected Vehicle Status was checked, showing an odometer reading of 17522 miles, tire pressures of LF-36PSI, RF-36PSI, OLR-36PSI, ORR-38PSI, and an HV battery at 42% with 106 miles range. A Workshop Manual for the 2022 Mustang Mach-E was referenced at 9:28 AM, followed by a Self Test at 9:29 AM, which passed for multiple modules including ABS, ACCM, ACM, APIM, BCM, and others. Another Network Test was conducted at 9:33 AM, and a Datalogger session for the TCU module was performed at 9:34 AM, monitoring CELL_SIGNAL and CELL_TECH parameters. The final Connected Vehicle Status check at 4:59 PM showed an odometer reading of 17533 miles, tire pressures of LF-38PSI, RF-39PSI, OLR-38PSI, ORR-40PSI, and an HV battery at 35% with 85 miles range.

On ‎4/22‎/‎2024, a series of software updates and tests were performed on vehicle VIN 3FMTK3SUXNMA02850. Initial diagnostics at 7:40 AM showed the odometer at 17589 miles, tire pressures within normal range, and HV battery at 76%. A network test and self-test at 11:06 AM and 11:07 AM respectively, passed for all modules. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software update was initiated at 11:10 AM, followed by updates for the Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module B (SOBDMB) at 11:13 AM, Hybrid Powertrain Control Module (SOBDMC) at 11:19 AM, Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) at 11:21 AM, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) at 11:23 AM, Remote Function Actuator (RFA) at 11:29 AM, Generic Function Module (GFM) at 11:51 AM, Headlamp Control Module (HCM) at 11:55 AM, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control Module at 11:59 AM, Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Module at 12:06 PM, Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) at 12:13 PM, and Body Control Module (BCM) at 12:18 PM. The BCM update included a successful TPMS learning procedure. A self-test at 12:31 PM passed for all modules. Subsequent tests at 2:25 PM and 2:26 PM revealed DTC codes: CMR HS1 B115E:97:0E, B15E1:97:0E, and B15E2:97:0E. The Driver Status Monitor Camera Module (CMR) software update was completed at 2:27 PM, followed by the Image Processing Module A (IPMA) update at 2:51 PM, despite low battery SOC warnings. The Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) update at 3:40 PM faced communication issues but was eventually completed. A final self-test at 3:46 PM passed for all modules.

They also did some updates in May:

On 5/17/2024, a 2022 Mustang Mach-E with VIN 3FMTK3SUXNMA02850 and 18,032 miles was diagnosed for multiple DTCs including P060D, P087F, P1575, P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128, and P2138. Pinpoint Test DK was initiated, starting with DK1 CHECK FOR DTC P087F, confirming it was the only DTC present. Subsequent steps DK2, DK3, and DK4 checked for ABS, APIM, and ISC DTCs, all returning no additional codes. A network test and self-test revealed DTCs: CMR HS1 B115E:97:08, B15E1:97:08, B15E2:97:08, PCM HS1 P087F:00:28, and SOBDMC HS1 P0C2F:92:68. A PCM software update was performed, involving steps to maintain battery voltage, turn ignition on and off, and complete the application. Following this, SSM 52498 addressed the "1 Pedal Drive Fault" warning with DTC P0C2F:92 in the SOBDMC. A Hybrid Powertrain Control Module (SOBDMC) software update was executed similarly, followed by a Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) software update. Post-updates, a self-test confirmed all systems passed. Final connected vehicle status showed an odometer reading of 18,033 miles and tire pressures at 9505 PSI, indicating a sensor error. The repair concluded with the resolution of the "1 Pedal Drive Fault" warning.

Rory, that is a huge help. I will study the great amount of info. It does seem to be that the car is still not doing updates without needing dealer interference.
