Can you be more specific about the issue you're experiencing with your 15" Sync screen?

Here's the list of available software updates in FDRS:

Nice ! Thanks very much for replying …

‘as for my issue, the main screen , totally randomly , without anything on the road like a bump or something , goes dark , music/radio shut down and then the animation start over and everything reappear , which is totally crazy especially when looking the gps on where to turn … it last less than a minute , but within that period of time screen is just black.

CMR code has reported with the 8F software byte a few times. There are a few TSB's linked to some of the codes you car has reported. I went down a rabbit hole looking through a few different pinpoint tests, but without being plugged in with FDRS, it's difficult to troubleshoot the issue. One of the TSB's mentions updating the IPMA to the latest version, and you do have the new version pending, but I think the CMR update you have pending may be the better route to fixing it as per 24-2251. TSB 23-2040 was referenced in some of the codes your car reported, but that TSB asks to update the IPMA and your IPMA software if from 12/23 which is newer than the TSB itself.

I'm listing everything FYI, but I'd try to update the CMR and then run the procedure outlined in SSM 51776.
Just finished updating everything in FDRS that I could. Having trouble with DSM and SOBDM so those aren't updated. Not sure what to do about that.
SOBDM said Security access failure

DSM fails at configuring the module. It says procedure unsuccessful - restoreDE0x_Range. Exception writing configuration to module.

Additionally, there was no CMR update there. Is it still showing an update pending for CMR on your side?

I'd close our fdrs, restart the laptop and scan it again. Run the config routine on the DSM and then run a self test on it. If it comes back green, I wouldn't worry about it.

Not sure about the SOBDM. Hopefully restarting fdrs solves that.

As far as the CMR update goes: You plugging into it with fdrs supersedes anything we can see remotely. If fdrs whole plugged into the car shows no pending CMR update, then you have no pending CMR update.

Same error for the DSM so it couldn't config. Ran self test and it came back green though.

Same error with the SOBDM too. Self test comes back green as well.

Hopefully those BlueCruise disengages stop happening, one of the updates was the IPMA.

So to be clear...after running a selftest and all tiles are green...when you then try to update the SOBDM...it says what exactly?

Running PMI ended up clearing out the SOBDM update.

Any idea about the DSM?
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice something isn't working the way it should. If the module was really misconfigured, I would assume something would be broken.

Have you tried a PMI? :)
Haha I thought you might say that. No, I haven't tried that. I am pretty new to this stuff so I don't know when to do/not do certain things. I didn't want to do something I shouldn't and mess something up!

Would I click yes or no for original module installed?
