On the charging discussion... interesting real world charging experience on the Polestar... I fear the Mach-e will be similar, at least at first before updates and refining. It's a shame the whole EV market is about overstating range and charge speeds.... real world is what it's all about.

Just received the below email and youtube walkthrough from Ford. IT's maybe old hat but it's one of very few communications I have received since placing my order.

I thought our emails on this site had been compromised and it was a spam email!

not the best spelling - are they trying to say concierge? and also admitted an error in the video hmm

Have now been on the phone to the customer services team for the Mach e. They were able to reassure me that my order hadn’t been cancelled but weren’t able to help me otherwise.
A member of the team is going to call me back by the end of the week to sort it out...??
Part of me thinks Ford don’t really want to sell this car to me....maybe they discovered that I had Googled Tesla!??

they have problems with their ordering system. UK team are waiting for the USA team to update a lot of issues but there is a 30day timer so if it's not confirmed it says that it's cancelled even when it's not. I feel for the UK team. The USA guys have told them it will be done but then nothing changes. Maybe the USA team were on a march of come kind?

So order originally confirmed with Ford HO and todat with dealer (didn't know I had to do this but only took a minute) - dealer said expect it April some time, though I'm going to say by the middle of the year so I don't get disappointed!

In the space of 5 minutes we were told 2 different things by 2 different people there. Random as we hadn't heard from them for months apart from us chasing and then saying...dunno.

That's also what we thought but I think it was mentioned further up this thread maybe and we called concierge and they confirmed you can!

I spoke with the concierge after receiving the worst service I have ever seen. She said that Ford UK can reallocate the order to another dealer.
