I received my adapter around Sept 17, 2024. I have not received the email.

I'm disappointed they don't include specific part or serial numbers as that would save a heck of a lot of confusion. For what it's worth, my part number is: (P) 1434343-20-D
Yeah, I’m annoyed they haven’t released a serial or date range. I have an issue with my order that it was never actually linked to my FordPass account (long story addressed in a prior post: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...ers-in-u-s-canada-🙌.34026/page-46#post-761907), so I didn‘t get emails on the order.

@Mach-E VLOG confirmed with Ford that it was one batch. Given that the positive respondents are all from the second batch, I believe we can infer that the June shipments are the affected adapters. ??

Seeing that I got mine a month ago I guess I’m good to go no letter.

I'm not sure if Lectron or a2z adapters are so meticulously tested. I have doubts about buying third party adapters.

From what I recall, A2Z tests every single adapter before shipping them out. They also have a good reputation for adapters as they have been making them for Tesla cars for years. I never heard of any issues with their previous adapters, so I’m sure their current ones are good as well.

Compared to the hollow, light weight Tesla made for Ford adapter, I put it away months ago and never used it.

Not surprised the Ford adapter is being recalled - at least mine is....

A2Z Typhoon OG and Pro are what I use every couple of days since April.
A2Z has the solid feel that has never failed me yet.

I did not receive an email. I had a very low order number. Any idea what order numbers were impacted?

No, but it’s the second batch. They were originally scheduled to ship in May but got delayed to June. ?‍♂?

Well A2Z is very open their testing, certifications, specifications, manufacturing, etc.

Where the OEM manufacture has given 0 information about their product and people guess where it’s even made off rumors.

Oh and can’t actually manufacture them at a reasonable rate…that seems to be an issue also.

1. New York Gigafactory (Buffalo, NY). They manufacture the Tesla Solar Roof, Superchargers, and the adapter for Ford, Rivian, GM, and soon more. It’s been reported in the EV press but somehow a great number of folks still want to believe they’re built overseas. Or perhaps they’re waiting on confirmation from Tesla’s literally non existent Media Relations Department.

2. They’re building 8,000 per week. That’s 1142 and a smidgen per day.

I don't remember which month I got mine. Is there any other way to tell?

A made in stamp like most products would probably help. Or yes, announcements from the company itself doesn’t sound like a rare concept.

But 1k a day, hey, only another half a year for them to finish just Ford.

No wonder those non OEM are selling like hot cakes.

Glad I have the Lectron adapter then. 1200 miles in to our trip and zero issues. Charging here at a Tesla Supercharger in Ogden, Utah. Heading for Bryce Canyon today.
