One contained a bag to return an adapter, the other did not. Non-padded, I can't imagine how that's going to work.
The notes say to return the adapters by November 11th. I guess since they recalled (oops, not a recall) the adapters in October, that made some sense, had they shipped replacements right away. The fact that someone at Ford doesn't realize that they're shipped misdated stuff is amazing.
why do you think you have to give your adapter to the new owner of the 2021? They bought the car as is, and nothing else is expected.I'm kind of bummed. Got my replacement adapter along with instructions, a pouch and a return shipping label. Pretty straight forward, however I essentially traded my 2021 in for my 2023. The fact that I don't have the adapter I reserved for the 2023 yet is what has be on the fence here. Email said December ETA. My plan was to give the replacement adapter to the dealership and have them track down the new owner. But with the return, I guess I could also give them the label etc., but it has my details on it. Another option would be have the dealer contact the owner and have them provide the old adapter. Once I have that in hand, I'll give them the replacement and return it per the instructions. But I'm still out a functioning adapter. Thoughts anyone? Is it wrong of me to keep the replacement until I get the one reserved for my current ride? I waited a long time for the initial one. Who knows how long it'll be before I get what I'm supposed to have.

Awesome! I got 2 "We've shipped your order" emails yesterday with Labels created yesterday at 7am. FedEx is still showing both of them as the same status of just "Label Created". Not sure what's going on.On 10/18/24, I got a notice that my replacement adapter is shipping soon.
On 1/9/2025, I got an email saying "We've shipped your adapter" and it showed up later that day.
Thanks to those who said you shipped the old one back, I didn't realize we had to, nor did I see the extra bag they shipped over.
As others mentioned, it's heavier and bigger than the one they sent mid-2024.
