With fall here and winter around the corner is there any issue to use warm soapy water when handwashing? I like to use Cascade dishwashing liquid and seems to work best in warmer water. Okay I’m kidding I’m using Meguirs Gold Classic

I guess that depends how cold it gets. Around here, it doesn't matter if the water starts out warm. It will still freeze in minutes.
I guess my question was will warm Luke warm water hurt the paint etc. I don’t want to freeze my hands?

I have found that some window cleaners do not work as well under 50F, and I think if you're able to get the car in the sun for a bit will probably help the situation overall.

I too need to do this, was planning on the warm water route as well.

This is the stupidest post I have ever seen on this forum. Handwashing? Handwashing? That has nothing to do with cars. Why on earth would you ask that here?

Wait, wut? He's asking about washing the car by hand?

I am planning on using very warm water with ONR to treat the car prior to washing, very warm ONR in a bucket, and microfibers to clean my car this winter. For your product, wouldn't you need water to rinse away the soap? Genuinely curious as I will have to wash my car outside in the cold in the northeast and am looking for tips.
