The hard faults are still on the dash. The other two times, if they were close together, could have been other times I started the car. I went out just now to check again, and it is the only time I have started it since yesterday.

Is it safe to assume I need to bring this to my dealer? Any other thoughts as to what I can/should do?

And THANK YOU for getting back to me! I really appreciate it!
If the codes didn't go away, then yes, a dealer visit is warranted.

Would someone with FDRS access provide me with any insight into why I haven't received an OTA update this year?
VIN - 3FMTK3SU0NMA27479
'22 Premium AWD
I believe the last OTA the car received was September or October of last year.

Ford Connected Services isn't giving me a ton of info (though I can't say they weren't helpful). They said it seems like I'm likely missing out on some important updates, and gave me some things to try.
The dealer had the car last week and said there weren't any OTAs available, but they did replace the 12v battery so that was pretty nice.

Unfortunately, neither PTS or FDRS tells us why vehicles are not getting updates nor when one will be sent. They are correct that you have no pending OTA's and I can see none have been sent recently. I can also see you car's modem is working fine and you car is talking to the cloud. I see the dealer poked around a bit trying a few things they thought might get you some updates sent.

I'm good with this. I know people in customer facing positions don't always provide the whole story to a customer for fear of it coming back to bite them, just wanted to cover all of my bases.

The Connected Services rep seemed knowledgeable, and said I should:

  • Charge to at least 85%
  • Be connected to Wifi
  • Have the car unplugged.
  • Lights off, windows up, doors closed, car in park, parking brake set.
  • Update schedule set to something other than 12am EST.
I'll just stay patient.

Thank you for checking!

You've got 16 modules to update. Please get me by private message to know. Regards

These instructions are to help ensure an update successfully installs when one gets sent. However, it won't do anything in terms of getting you an update sent from Ford. The 12V battery should be charged up, yes. Wifi does not matter. Lights being off or parking brake set don't matter. I am also not a fan of the late night auto-updates schedule due to the car being parked for hours allows the 12v battery to lose charge. I prefer to just start the update manually as soon as I park since the 12v battery would be nice and juiced up after a drive.

Hi - Would someone with FDRS be able to check my updates? The last OTA was 5/31/24.
It's a 2021 Route 1. VIN is - 3FMTK2R74MMA06465
I have not been following all of the updates and versions posted on this forum and need your help. How far behind is my car's Blue Cruise and Sync updates?

Thanks

Your car is on Sync 23352 which is the latest available for your vehicle, so your Sync updates are up to date. As far as your BC updates, you are missing the CMR which is available OTA, and also the IPMA/PSCM which are not being sent to the 2021's via OTA yet.

Folks, thanks so much for doing this. I was wondering if someone can check for my 2024 Premium AWD?

Latest update was 10.1.1, but the OCD in me wants to know if there's any pending updates.

This was a new one to me as well. "85% and unplugged", so I clarified with the guy twice. I usually only charge to 85%, so when it's at 85% it's plugged in, otherwise it's below 85%.
