My 21 UK model is again receiving updates, I guess possibly the pause has ended.

WF0TR3SU0MMA19392

I'm not sure how many it's had, but it's up to 5.1.1 - could I have a check of what it's got and if it has any others in progress?
My 21 UK is again rolling on updates again. About a month since the last one.

24-PU0102-SVD-FX

Which seems an odd follow up to 5.1.1 but it’s a 2024 update which is nice.

Could someone check my VIN?

Can’t connect to the FordPass App. The car shows connected services on. Took to the dealership. Said they updated everything and there is nothing they can do until Ford finds a fix.

Welcome to the forum. The country code in your TCU (modem) is wrong. You can fix it in minutes with FORScan. Dealer did in fact update everything.

I posted this in another thread and a member directed me to this post. I’d really appreciate any info someone is willing to share!

“I’ve been considering a Mach E for a few months doing researching and lurking on this forum. I’ve decided to make the leap with a GTPE. I’ve read some older threads about purchasing lemon/buyback models and wondering if someone could give me any additional info on this VIN?

3FMTK4SX1PMA24383

Software updates, repairs, etc?
Also, welcome any feedback from ME owners who’ve purchased one of the buyback models. Have you had any issues? Did you buy an ext warranty,? How has the service experience been knowing it’s a buyback vehicle?
Thanks in advance!”

Hi.
Just got my car back to the dealer and they mentioned they pushed an update through but there is a lot that was not covered and would run about $1700(!) to push the rest of the updates through since I’m out of the 3/36 warranty. Can someone help to confirm what they actually pushed through and what is remaining? They also mentioned I would not be able to receive OTA's until the remaining updates are pushed....that cant be right, right?
VIN: 3FMTK4SEXMME02730

Thanks!

Because you have several open FSAs...I would hazard a guess that it was the HVJB replacement you had performed, but that FSA is still 'open' at the minute (they may not have closed out the paperwork yet). What got updated was a set of powertrain updates that would be consistent with having the HVJB replacement done, since it's part of that repair process.

I understand what they said about OTAs. It would appear that several of the items in the list below might keep newer updates from becoming available because of software dependency issues. Like the IPC should be updated before the CCM, which should be updated before the CMR, which should be updated before the IPMA and PSCM, and in between all of that some gateway updates and APIM (Sync) and TCU updates might then show up as well. But because of the IPC that still hasn't gotten updated (as an OTA or by using FDRS) nothing new can be sent as an OTA until that ball starts rolling by updating the IPC (and probably other things) in sequence.

You can do this all yourself for less than $1700. Roughly 1K for the Mongoose adapter and powersupply and $50 or so for the 2-day FDRS license.

Here's the list of available software in FDRS today:

@flyinbrian I forgot to mention that your 12V battery is showing a 39% state of charge right now. That's pretty low, so either the car needs to be driven, or the battery needs to be charged up somehow, or strange errors are going to start happening. If it goes completely dead, you'll be locked out, but I guess you know that by now.

Would that have anything to do with the HVBJB work that they completed? When I dropped it off the battery was around 85%.

I don't think so. The 12V battery is what we're talking about, not the high voltage drive battery.

I've posted here a few times before, I'm being given the runaround by Ford UK trying to fix my updating issue.

I've allegedly had a new APIM fitted months ago but still stuck "not completed" on the next update for about 8 weeks now. (An update released in 2023)

If someone could run my VIN and see if the issues with the gateway module/APIM remain and any advice at all on possible remedy would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

Post a pic of the info in the "about sync" screen in your car. OTA history shows you've gotten an APIM update sent many time over the past 60-90 days but continues to fail with different errors. However, you did get a successful GWM back in September.

Thanks for that info. Sync info below. When they did the "New APIM" they definitely at least updated it, as I didn't have the camera icon on the top bar previously. But no idea if they actually replaced it or physically fixed anything.

It looks to me like it's a 12V battery SOC issue mostly. There's only one time mentioned in the daily history of this update (18 Nov-3 Dec) where his 12V battery SOC hit above 90%. The rest of the checks were all below that value.

His APIM OTA update was supposed to be "Priority Update 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE" but as you know that one is a full 6GB big.

He's on SYNC4 v4.0.23159 now.

Here's the list today from FDRS:

915 is s stepping stone to 1078 I think. Or thereabouts. I remember we had 915 for a very short time and it wasn't maybe a couple weeks later that we got another APIM update.
