I think it's a shame that there wasn't some type of upgrade done. When I bought mine the dealer didn't know anything about it, I found out about it here after I owned it for a bit. Thought it was odd how it pulled so good and then fell flat. Must take a significant hardware upgrade.

Someone must know what changes allow the 24 a longer run or are they too conservative with the 21's?

Well, you could have just asked. ? Yes, 5553 is correct. If that doesn't fix, lmk and we'll troubleshoot further.

Write and reboot the TCU from the wrench icon.

In August the tech did update your steering column module (SCCM) and then a few days later your powertrain modules were updated (PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC).

At that time it was very likely that there were more updates available that could have been applied.

Here's the list this morning:

While I understand what the note says at the bottom regarding getting the IPC updated so that a new GWM and APIM can also be updated afterwards, it's also important to get that TCU updated as well.

The IPMA shouldn't be attempted until the CMR is done first.

Hello guys,

Mach-E owner from Sweden here. Is it possible for any of you to do a firmware check-up on my vehicle that just went through a service session the other week? They told me some things were adjusted but provided me with no further information.

Some days later a wild OTA update (ECG-24.2.5.6.3) also appeared from nowhere. From what I understand this is some kind of GWM-update (perhaps also EU-adjusted with extra add-ons), but information online is sparse.

Would be very much appreciated if I were to learn some more about these recent updates. VIN in PM, then updates can bu published in this thread if they can share any knowledge to the rest of the community.
