I'm really torn thanks to you, Mark! I was going to keep my '21 GTPE when my Options plan expires in January, but with your post and really thinking about how I'd be over paying for my '21 due to the balloon amount and its market value, I've been looking.
I found a dealer with a '24 GT and a Rally. I want the Rally due to a, hopefully, way better ride for the wife and kids. She complains whenever we take it over her car because you feel the bumps and blah blah. I like it, but what can you do.
The Rally wheels stink, in my opinion, like I've said before, but are easily changed. The interior white on the seat backs is just ... I don't know if I can deal with that lol. So now I don't know what to do and if the ride quality is maybe not that different just get a GT? Or explore a totally different car yet none really seem to check the boxes properly.
1PD on all the time and blended braking no matter what (I heard the Kias and Hyundais you have to do it each time you get in), BC is great for me and my commute (I don't know anyone else that does hands free? Super cruise, I think, but then no CarPlay?), smooth ride, and a nice interior. I also remember @Mach-Lee or someone else saying even though all these other cars say they are OTA capable, they can't do as many components as the MME so you still have to do dealer visits for certain ones. Being able to FDRS updates is nice, too, though maybe another brand just has OTA updates down pat (not counting Tesla as I'd only do the S and can't do no turn signal stalk, that's weird).
