Hello! Can someone tell me what updates are available for my car? I am bringing it to the dealer next week, so I want to print out the list to make sure they know which ones are needed, as I'm still not getting OTA updates.

VIN: 3FMTK4SXXMMD99457

Thanks for doing this - it’s much appreciated!

Hello all,
I purchased my Mach E used in July of this year. I don't think i am getting any OTA updates but not sure. My Software Updates screen on the car shows only the 23-PU1024-6CH-AUD as "Completed" and shows nothing else on that screen.
Can someone tell if I'm getting any updates? or what is pending? if now, what should i do, are their issues that need to be resolved for me to get updates? are their any known issues as to why updates are not coming through?

2022 FORD MUSTANG MACH-E PREMIUM
VIN: 3FMTK3SU7NMA27480

thank you for any help...

Your 12V battery is indicating it's only at a state of charge of 58%.

You have repeated DTCs for the right rear wheel speed sensor.

You have an open FSA 23S56 to get your High Voltage Junction Box replaced under warranty. That repair would also update all of the powertrain modules that are in the list below (PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC).

It would appear that your car has only ever been in the shop one time for a software update back in 2022.

Here's the list of available software updates in FDRS:

I forgot to ask...are you having issues with your Sync screen? You car seems to think so and told me to show you this attached SSM.

Hello,
I have a 2021 Mach-e Premium VIN# 3FMTK3SS3MMA33418 and have not received any OTA updates in quite some time. Could someone please tell me the SOC of my 12V battery as I suspect this may be the cause, or maybe some other issue?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, can someone please check out two errors I got on my car?
  1. Dec. 6th @ 10:47am - AWD Fault after going over a speed bump too fast and the car kinda slipped forward. I got the error right after, but it cleared up after I turned off the car
  2. Dec. 9th @ 10:52pm - Charge Fault, haven't had one since my charge port was replaced a few months ago. I woke up to the error in the morning, but my car was fully charged - so my assumption was a temporary error either software update or Wallbox charger outage
I haven't gotten these errors since, but I just want to know if I should take it to the dealer or not.

Thank You!

Ryan you car reports that the 12V SOC is 88% (the last time it reported in).

OTAs have not been flowing for '21 models.

There were two faults and both were for the front drive motor. Ultimately the tech is supposed to look for damage to the low voltage cables going to the front motor as part of the repair diagnostics. It wouldn't hurt to have somebody clear the codes to see if they come back and then if so check the front motor area for damage to wiring.

On the second thing you mentioned, here's the diagnostic steps:

Thanks for looking these up for everyone, it is a great and really helpful idea.

I have recently got a secondhand AWD Extended range 2021 MME in the UK. I did spot on this forum the recall for the breaking system update, which my dealer did for me on request. I have an extended warranty and so thought it would be wise to check what else needs updating. Also I have heard the 12V battery is prone to failure at 3 years and so it would be good to know its status. Please can I ask for one of you fine fellows to run a check?

Does anyone know what updates are usually OTA in the UK? I assume I have the control module update thingy as I can open the frunk (although in the UK it is a boot and not a trunk, so foot with the oo pronounced as in boot) using the keypad. Strangely it seems we have less buttons on our keys. I’m not sure why it can’t open like the boot, but I guess there anre regulations on how the Additionally PAAK does not seem to be an option, nor using the access code to start the car.

Many thanks

Your car is fairly behind on the Sync updates (you're on Sync 22177 which is from mid 2022). You were sent an APIM update that would have brought this up to a newer version on 9/27, but the OTA timed out before it was able to install because the vehicle was not started to allow the OTA trigger to move along to the download phase. Your car is talking to the cloud just fine and reporting itself regularly since the end of November which I assume if when you purchased it. The car is behind a bit, but everything seems to be fine in order for you to be able to receive updates. The OTA process is unpredictable so no telling when they will try to send you that APIM update again, but the car seems fine to me.

Thanks rugedraw, that’s good to know. Yes, I got the car at the end of November. Do you know what is in the sync update? Does this allow the CarPlay and android auto battery reading functionality? Frustratingly the dealer told me there were no further updates. Would they be able to apply the OTA update manually rather than waiting for it to be pushed again?

Thanks

The way the sync updates work, they have to be installed sequentially. The next apim update you're due is one of several you'll need before you go to the one that has the option you want.

You can ask the dealer to do them, but since Ford does not pay them labor hours to update modules just because they are not up to date, most people do not have much success getting the dealer to do this for them.
