Can anyone please look up my Vin 3FMTK2R73MMA34421 to see what updates are pending? I'm just curios because they did the 24b42 CSP via mobile visit and the tech was only at my house for 15 minutes to update the appropriate modules.

Does it show anything on OTA status for today/yesterday/this week?

I saw an incomplete message on the software update screen that disappeared and then later got a “Drive Mode Unavailable” message - but it then allowed me to select them again without issue. Possibly a module update while I was driving?

The last OTA status you had was for a successful installation of a gateway (GWM) update on the 4th of December, which should be shown on your Check Updates page as 24-PU0102-SVD-FX.

You currently have no OTAs in the queue.

You didn't say when this onsite service visit occurred, but I'm assuming it was in the month of December.

Zero programming (module updates) took place so far this month on your car, and CSP 24B42 is still listed as an open FSA on your VIN.

CSP 24B42 is (as you can read yourself in the attachment) an update for the powertrain modules.

There is no session history in FDRS for any tech doing any powertrain updates (or anything else) on your car within the last 30 days.

If those powertrain updates had actually been performed by a tech to satisfy 24B42 then the PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, and SOBDMC updates in the list below wouldn't be there.

Is it possible the tech ran into a problem and couldn't do the updates?

You had an OTA fail (Ford Power-Up 6.3.0 for the TCU module) on the 9th of December. It says it will "retry" later.

He was out yesterday morning and said it was done. Thanks for the info and I'll call the dealership. I just spoke with the dealership and told them that FDRS wasn't showing anyone working on my car and the modules weren't updated. They said since it was a mobile service, it will take time for it to be reported to Ford/FDRS. This didn't make sense, but they said check back in a week. I guess I'll just have to wait and ask someone to run my Vin again after one or two weeks. Thanks again for all your information and expertise.

You gotta believe that MOST employees of Ford Dealership Service Departments are completely oblivious to the fact that they have customers with PTS/FDRS access.

And admittedly, we are a tiny fraction of the percentage of customers of Blue Oval products. Still, it amazes me how common it is for customers to be told things that the person talking is just making it all up! Literally lieing to your face without blinking.

I guess it's OK since "everyone does it" ?

I haven't received any updates since August of 2023 with the "Music to your ears" as far as the car is concerned like many as seen on this thread https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...-23-would-anyone-be-able-to-help.35161/page-9

Apparently I received Sync 4 v4.0.23031 on October 31st of this year according to the dealership but I've seen no changes to the car or received any update notifications.

I've been having a few software glitches and issues with the car for a while now so I've taken it into the dealership multiple times for the updates but they always just tell me "the car is fully up to date".

This is DealerSpeak™ which translates to "there are no updates we'd get paid to install."

Edit: but once @Mike G pulls your pending updates he will probably notice issues you're having covered by TSBs.
