Well, it's a very large complex with 1700 apartments in 4 buildings so it has that ability. Only 1 in 4 apartments have parking. There is a wait list. That is great apartment! I did see the yellow vest in the distance in the image but thought it was a worker.
I was just thinking the same thing. The EU L2 charging system where you supply the cord makes a lot of sense for setups like this.
Congrats! This is huge! We have 6 and every Tesla thinks it's their personal parking spot. This should definitely help.Crazy, but my apartment building just activated a little over 100 chargers; every parking spot has one! They were installed over the summer, but it took months to get them all tested and turned on. A great holiday present. Noticed several people have gotten EV's as a result. (3 tesla 's, one polestar and my mach e)

There are cities in the world that have things called public transit and people who don’t own cars.Only 1 in 4 apartments have a designated/reserved parking spot? Is this Section 8 housing? Do people really have entire households without a car or truck? This is bizarre to me. Also, $10k per charger?
It depends on where you live. We live in the middle of downtown Chicago and there’s no practical reason to own a car. Most of my neighbors don’t or have one and never use it.Only 1 in 4 apartments have a designated/reserved parking spot? Is this Section 8 housing? This is NYC where most people don't want a car (and rent them when they need one).Only 1 in 4 apartments have a designated/reserved parking spot? Is this Section 8 housing? Do people really have entire households without a car or truck? This is bizarre to me. Also, $10k per charger?
So separate from your condo’s electric bill? Is the rate the same as the residential rate if it is separate? They're EVgo chargers. You pay like you would anywhere else. Our building got a 1.1 million dollar grant from the electric company for this project. The building doesn't profit except for having cleaner air!
The building is not involved. It's with EVgo. The electric company gave my building a giftSo separate from your condo’s electric bill? Is the rate the same as the residential rate if it is separate?
