Thank you, MikeHVJB negative contactor stuck closed.
Will likely be a new HVJB installed.
They should offer a loaner.
In addition, your 12V battery is reporting only 44% SOC but is at 15.3V (Likely the car is plugged in?) Which is not great.
It is possible that following the SSMs they may try resetting your BECM counter first and dealing with the 12V battery issue and if that sorts it all out a HVJB may not need to be replaced...we will have to see where the diagnostics take them.
Going well so far. Already at DSM. ??PCM which will script all the powertrain updates, then clear and retest for DTCs, then 'quickies' like the HVAC, DSM, DSP, RFA, BCM.
Then the IPMA will take 2.5hrs by itself, and is scripted to update the PSCM after that (5 minutes).
When doing the BCM if you are asked if you want to train the TPMS system, say "No". You don't need to do that if you haven't rotated the tires while doing the update ? so just skip it and your tire pressures will show properly anyway.
Hello,Thanks so much ill take action on this right way.
I've been trying to get the dealership and ford on a path to update the vehicle but keep hitting roadblocks.
I have a ticket open with ford regarding the OTA but I think it's just through some customer satisfaction program or something because I spoke with them and they just said "If the dealership says there are no updates then that's all we can do and have to take the dealership on their word" meanwhile I've been explaining to every person that my last update based on the info I could see was from August of '23....
I've tried my best to keep everything on the client side (12v soc, car locked state, data /wifi signal etc) in order in hopes of getting the updates.
Not according to the workshop manual...but different shops have different lifts. There are a very wide variety of lifts that shops use, and they may need to remove the wheels in order to drop the battery pack with whatever lift they're using.Thank you, Mike
Do they have to remove the wheels to perform this type of work? They say they do need to remove them.
They are apparently looking at dropping the battery pack to replace the HVJB. At least that's what the tech looked up.Hello,
@Mike G would you mind pulling the vin again and check the available module updates as well as when all the modules were last updated?
The car is the dealer and they supposedly updated the modules but I want to double check prior to picking the car up.
They're still giving me the run around on a few things.
Could update DSM later.DSM FAILED! ?
And they didn't do the IPMA/PSCM correctly or the PSCM wouldn't still be in this list (they are scripted to update together):Hi @Mike G, me again. I came back from the dealer, can you please check which modules have been updated? They told me they didn't do PCM, BCM and DCM. VIN WF0TK3SSXMMA37563.
Thanks!
Replied in the FDRS guide thread...Could update DSM later.
Now RFA module give error.
Tried already twice to update without success
Someone an idea what could be wrong?
or what I could try?
going trying to sleep first, after midnight.
Thank you very much @Mike G!And they didn't do the IPMA/PSCM correctly or the PSCM wouldn't still be in this list (they are scripted to update together):

It looks like you now have a new gateway update as well in your list.

Only 4 more updates to go until the system thinks you're all caught up.

Once that TCU is updated then the GWM (gateway) will become available, and then after that the next APIM (Sync), etc...you get the idea.
