I just traded in my 2022 MME ER AWD Premium for a 2024 GT October build. I noticed the doors no longer pop out 1-2 inches when pressing the entry button, and the plungers don't seem to be in the doors any more.

When did those get removed, and has anyone discovered any issues with them missing (frozen doors, etc.)?

Yes it is in my list of things that changed between my '21 and '24 Mach-E.

So far no issues at all. However it does not get any colder than about 28˚ here.

How far does it open without it?

That's actually funny timing of this thread. Tonight my driver rear door only popped open like this with the plunger not extending. And after I kept hitting the open button and it not doing anything I realized it had only unlatched. And I thought, I'd really not like it if it didn't have that feature. And here we are.

It was removed on job 2 models. I have them on my 24 GT. Built in June 2024. I'm not sure why

I was just coming here to say that early 2024s still included it. We've driven 5 different 2024 Mach-Es that were probably Job 1 and they all had it.

The front doors on my 24 GT just pop open very slightly. Clearly just the latch releasing the door. The rear doors still have presenters and the doors push outward and can't be closed until you open the door some. I was thinking that if the front door opening isn't sufficient, I could probably get in through the back and crawl up front to push the door out if I had to. My Mach-E is mostly garaged so I suspect it'll be a rare issue (if at all) for me.

The rear doors still have the presenters like always, they only deleted the front ones.

So what opens the door if there is no presenter?
Like a door on any other car without a presenter (door actuator) they pop open when you unlatch it.

Correct, starting in July '24 (Job 2) they eliminated the presenters from the front doors.

WHY?? Cost savings? Then eliminate the back door presenters, not the ones used 100% of the time!!!
The front doors have a handle, so no need for presenters. The rear doors have no handle, so you can't eliminate them unless you add a handle. I remember the front door handles have zero aerodynamic cost because they're behind the mirrors in the airflow.
