Thank you! I usually try to do 100% on my EV's for weekend trips but haven't really been doing many lately so I'll need to change it up.

Hopefully Ford figures out that BlueCruise issue soon. I'm surprised it's not affecting more people.

BlueCruise won't show up in Connected Services, or does show up for about 0.5 seconds and disappears. Can't sign up and I've tried the fuse trick, clearing codes, turning off/on 10 times and other recommendations for similar problems. I have a scheduled software update time set. BlueCruise map version shows up as MU5T-14H394-AAV, but Ford says that it's a known issue on their side and there's nothing wrong with the vehicle.

There have been a couple of other posts here about it but it doesn't seem to affect too many people for some reason so it's apparently not a priority for Ford.

I’d appreciate a look see at vin 3FMTK3SU4MMA47443. The clock is ticking on my free year of BC and I’m hoping there’s nothing standing in the way of the OTA BC update.
Thanks

FDRS arranged them in a slightly different order than last week, but the result is still the same:

Haha thanks mike. So what is the module that brings the new 12v battery charging logic (hvb charges lvb when below 55% lvb soc)

Well there's another clue actually....you don't seem to have a current subscription for BlueCruise at all. Not that your car isn't technically capable, but you don't have a subscription. Your car had the 90 day trial when new, but there is no BlueCruise subscription listed in your Vehicle Subscriptions list. So I'm not sure a software update would fix that.

So I'd call them and find the receipt where you paid and reference that so they'll turn it on at their end.

Your BlueCruise subscription expires 10-23-2025...but your Nav subscription has already expired.

Here's the list of available software updates for your VIN with the two you're looking for indicated. You don't have any OTA history going back at least 60 days.

Yeah, that's the problem. No subscription and no way to add one. We also never got the 90 day trial.

We did have some other issues with setup at purchase. It seems like the transporter who moved the vehicle from dealer to dealer must have registered it and messed with the PAAK and other features. We got all that reset at purchase, but it sounds like maybe the BlueCruise demo got caught up in that also, which might be making all this worse. Either way, Ford hasn't been able to fix it yet despite multiple calls and escalations. They just keep telling me the "engineers" are aware of the problem and the fix is coming. Others are seeing the same issue on renewal.

One annoying issue on an otherwise good vehicle.

Ahh, well that's fairly annoying, you're right.

Thanks Mike,I’m not sure I understand. Are the IPMA and PSCM updates holding up BC 1.3 or are they BC 1.3? Also, do I have to have the Navigation subscription to get BC updated? Thanks again.

They are the BC 1.3 update.

Well when I saw that I was wondering the same thing. I guess you could have BC without a Nav subscription..but to be honest I don't really know now. I haven't had to cross that bridge so-to-speak...

Call the EV team and ask them: 800-392-3673
