Thank you so much for the info, I can’t tell from the screenshot since I am new to all this,
1)is the car behind on OTA by a lot? Will I need to get the FDRS setup to get it up to date?
2) Does FDRS also pull records when service is performed on the car?

The three module updates listed at the bottom of the screen (Additional Updates: GWM, APIM, TCU) could be things that you could say the car is behind on. The other things in that list may, or may not have been packaged and sent out as OTAs so it's hard to quantify.

Hey kind FDRS peoples :)

Been a few hundred pages since I posted last, and recently had some modules updated OTA and via TSB-25-2049. Would someone mind rerunning my VIN and see what else I have pending? I'm about done my warranty and want to try one last chance of getting these updates (My dealer seems to be pretty open to updates if I can link it to a complaint).

If you’re getting any modules updated before the warranty expires, have the dealer also check your 12v battery. They seem to go bad around the 3 year mark and are covered by warranty. I had mine replaced and the dealer updated all remaining modules days before my warranty expired.

It’s for you to take to the dealer and have them do the update. Nothing for you to do yourself.

Recalls don't appear on your Sync updates screen. That's where the status of OTAs (and just OTAs only) appear.

Here's the list of available software updates in FDRS for your VIN. The items with the yellow stars to the left of them are what would get updated by the attached recall FSA your car is entitled to:

Can someone help look at the alerts or warning in my car .Also please suggest if any updates are needed .I had a 12v battery completely drained and jump started .Not sure what drained it though . My vin is 3FMTK3SS1MMA61072

I disconnected the battery and that solved the update screen being stuck
Sure enough, after the disconnecting battery to reset the computer, on the first drive this morning the IPC module did successfully update with an over-the-air push.

The tech did open and read the TSB before starting (actually twice, in fact) but then proceeded to attempt to do the IPMA without a powersupply, and then the CMR, etc. Eventually a powersupply was connected and programming proceeded.

So CMR, IPMA, PSCM, GWM, APIM, TCU, and the powertrain items were all updated.

It says the OTA will retry. That might take a while, but it will eventually show up.

Well, after driving almost 2 hours to see the Mach-E with the VIN I posted yesterday morning, we were informed that the vehicle had been sold the night prior and nobody bothered to notify us.

In other news, I had some other prospects identified, we made a day trip of it and visited a couple other dealers. We did end up inking a deal on a red 2021 with only 8,800 miles in pristine condition. Unfortunately, we didn't get the VIN run for FDRS or records, so we took a little bit of a calculated gamble. If someone has a chance to pull our new VIN (3FMTK4SX0MME04763) it would be much appreciated! Thanks a ton for the help!
