This is a shame and I would like to say thank you to everyone on the thread that has been so helpful. All these look ups must have taken quite a bit of your time each evening and you’ve only done them to help the Mach-e community. My 21 would still be stuck regarding updates and this thread was instrumental in getting my dealer to take action. For this I am very grateful.

the main issue I have with Mach-e updates is that the car will report that it is fully updated even when it’s way behind. As the car says it’s updated the dealers take no action. However, for new owners of cars that are way behind on updates, the details in this thread could still be helpful in obtaining dealer compliance.

Just leased a F-150 Lightning and wanted to set up the PAAK but it wasn’t available. Can someone run the vin to see what updates I am missing?

PAAK is only available on the Lariat model, I believe. What model did you lease?

FYI Ford stopped allowing people to look up VINs if FDRS isn't connected directly to the vehicle.

Good afternoon:

If anyone is interested in checking the pending modules for their cars, whether via FDRS or OTA, and pending FSA updates, please contact me privately. Best regards.

We leased a 2025, Equipment Group 312A, *FLASH. You are correct. I confirmed eslewhere that the PAAK is only available on the Lariat model.

Thanks for the update.

I got irritated with the dealer and have decided to invest in my own updates. I am looking to see if there are any issues with running all of these and if there were any specific order I should follow. I ran the core 4 (GWM, TCU, IPC, APIM) without issue. The instructions at the bottom of FDRS that talked about order for install have all been completed. Currently shows me on 6.2 still and Sync version 23352 1122

Appreciate all the help I have gotten so far.

You can do the Powertrain module set next. That will take care of about 4-5 as they are linked. IPMA and PSCM are also linked, but will take about 3 hours to do. RFA will be like 45min.

The order of the rest do not matter. To add to what Mark said: The CMR will also take 45 minutes.

The BCM you cannot do; it will ask you for credentials you do not have. Also, the ACM will not come off the list after you update it, so run it once and then ignore it.

In terms of the message about 6.2.0: Ignore that. FDRS updates supersede OTA's. That message will remain in your screen until the next time you get sent an OTA and it replaces that message with the one that pertains to your next OTA.

If you are on Sync 23352 and not showing any more GWM/APIM/TCU, then Ford has not released the final string of Sync updates for your VIN and even with FDRS, you cannot update to Sync 24127....yet. Eventually, a GWM will pop up for you that once done, will release the final APIM/TCU updates.

You all are amazing. Very good info. Just kicked off the Powertrain Module and then will do the CMR and the other quick ones mentioned by Mark. I will save the IPMA for last.

Thanks for the info on the 6.2, BCM, and the ACM.

CMR completed successfully.

SOBD Control Module A and ABS failed with what looks like a java error. I have not attempted to re-run it yet.

I was going to run the rest of the quick ones before retrying the two that failed.

I recently did a powertrain set and started with the PCM and that caused a problem. I redid it starting with another one from the set and it worked fine. In your case, there were 6 modules in your set.
