I also think it’s funny that interior protection package (floor mats and cargo mat) is $550 if including it with build when they sell them for $205 and $160 if you buy them separately. Might as well use your FordPass points after purchase to buy them. Or I swapped mine for EBay/Amazon custom ones that cover more area for 1/4 the price. Just my 2 cents.
The interior protection package is the only way to get the rear cargo cover now. It’s not just the mats. They don’t seem to sell the cover separately and used on eBay etc is like $250. Although plenty of people seem to hate it so ??‍♂

I found the same car I ordered (GT Eruption Green) at a dealer 90 miles away. They increased MSRP by $2K and of course added various fees. Trying to negotiate by phone/email so I don't waste the 90 mile drive. It arrived yesterday - only showed as in stock on the Ford website, nothing on the dealer website. I might have appeared too eager...No update on the one I ordered since it was built early April. Dealer where I ordered hasn't returned my calls/email. ETA was this week. My area has several in stock black GTs with more in transit. Black was down my list of preferred colors but may end up being the way I go.
"They increased MSRP by $2K"? Do you mean they added $2K in additional markup over MSRP? Pass on that dealer!

I have progress to report. I ordered a velocity blue Rally in mid January. Build week was April 15. Ford went dark on me until yesterday morning (May 14), when my status changed to built and delivery date popped up as June 15-18. Dealer sent me an email with the same info at about the same time the email from Ford came in. I have a signed piece of paper to buy it at $2000 under the MSRP from the Mulroney sticker. Will post again when the car arrives and let you all know if there’s any shenanigans at the close. This car is going to Massachusetts.

I was fortunate enough to get a 25 Premium with the sport package 2 weeks ago. It came with the cargo cover. I used points and ordered the mats on Ford's website though.

It came with the cargo cover but no floor mats? I thought they were both included in the option package and neither one was available by itself with the build?

Yes - window sticker $58,675 on Ford website, then the dealer sent me an email with MSRP listed at $60, 675. When sending me the lease offer, they came down to $55,408 as market selling price - which seems like employee pricing on the $58,675 but then added close to $1,000 back in the price for paint protection and nitro. I couldn't get to the monthly lease amount they calculated ($687 - no money down, excluding taxes) using the auto companion lease calculator so I sent some questions to clarify. Never heard back.

I didnt get the interior protection package. It came with carpet floor mats and the rear cargo cover standard. I ordered the rubber mats from Ford.

Rear cargo cover or shade on the rear glass?

Finally a positive status update. The "panoramic roof" Mach E, the one I changed my deposit to from the original one, is officially listed as "shipped" in the order tracker. Every other time I've looked at this one or the original I put a deposit on, it was listed as "in production."

So hopefully soon...

Went to a local dealership yesterday to see the white and gray they received this week. Definitely cool to sit in a '25 model and check out the new interior layout (did not get to check the ventilated seats function). Their discount made it so that you basically don't pay extra money for the premium colors, which ironically means they are cheaper than the black one I preordered at dealership #2 with interior package included. Still thinking of waiting on the black one for a little longer, I hope I don't regret this decision...

Ford and others have been doing customer ordered cars for decades. This is nothing new. People ordered cars and they show up a few months later without even having a website to track it.

The issue is that in 2025 we are all so accustomed to having very precise detailed tracking information for everything we order now. It’s not uncommon to even have the precise GPS location of the last mile delivery driver.
As someone who has ordered many Fords over the years, business and personal, I can say that the web tracker for the Mach-E is extremely broken compared to what we've had the past couple years. But I think it's because whatever the delay reason has been, the system isn't built to accommodate that. Generally though, yes, we've never had a way to track vehicle orders to any real degree. It's not like tracking your UPS package. And it seems no other automaker is any better.

This is the weirdest and longest delay I've experienced with Ford, without there being an official statement. To me that is somewhat odd. It does not give me a great feeling or a whole lot of confidence in the custom order of ours that has now been built and sitting for over 2 months. We experienced a delay with a 2022 Bronco Sport that was close to two months of sitting near the factory. But Ford was communicative about it and there we could actually see what parts or modules the car was waiting on.

They also probably don’t want to specify exactly why certain cars are being held so people won’t reject their cars based on what the reason is.
Yes. But also a lack of communication will drive away customers as well. I have a feeling that there are several issues at play here, perhaps a storm of unfortunate events leading to these cars being delayed and then now only trickling out.

Our order date 3/6 and the delivery ETA is showing 5/20 to 5/26. A lot of people were citing the "last in first out" situation, but I think most of the deliveries so far have been early orders. ?
Seems to be a mix. Several deliveries have been early orders, but I've also seen quite a few arriving at dealerships that have production dates after ours. Ours was marked as built and shipped on march 5th. Still waiting with no ETA and no updates since April 2nd. We only know that it's in Texas and twas marked as OK to ship at one point and had railcar info. It was not loaded on that train. No updates in over a month since then. I've got my eye on a Molten Magenta GT that just arrived locally. Wife and I both really would like to have the ventilated seats on the Premium and she's not a fan of the GT seats overall. Besides I didn't want to spend the extra, but if this dealership gives us a good price...
