Ordered my Car on 3/28! Still no VIN or build date.

My email from Ford said I would be notified within the next 45 days. I’m presently at 50 days with no notice. ?

I remember that stress... I ordered mine on Feb. 13, 2023 and it was built in late May, but not delivered until July 11. So I understand the sense of anticipation, and frustration with the lack of activity and communication. But it will eventually arrive, so hang in there!

I was under the impression that the '25 production schedule was pushed back a bit, maybe due to tariff uncertainty? Anyway, enjoy your car when it arrives!

I don't know what you ordered, but I found my exact build at a dealer less than 50 miles from me and took delivery of that instead. I cancelled my order which I'm sure would have been another 4 months.

My 2022 Rapid Red Premium AWD ordered Nov. 20 2021 was delivered Nov. 26 20220 - 371 days later.

To be fair, that was during the chip shortage.

I ordered my 2025 with my dealer and on the next day 11/8/2024 I received an e-mail order confirmation. On January 11, 2025 I received the production week of March 10th with the vin number. Once you have the vin number you can call Ford Customer service and ask for order tracking A few days later I received another e-mail that it was in production on March 13th. That status didn't change until April 26th that it was shipped. I called customer service on 3/19/2025 and they told me that it was in Texas on March 17th. The online tracking showed it "in production"
The Word I got, not official, was they rushed via rail the cars to a holding hub just south of Dallas to beat the tariffs. It took some time to do final inspections and actually ship them. Finally I did received an e-mail that it shipped 4/26 and the online status finally updated as shipped.
Mine is due at the dealer 5/16 - 5/22
Today, May 21. My car finally arrived at the dealer!
