May I remind you, they STOPPED SHIPMENT. Diverted cars to remote location to inspect, and held some cars. Apparently for up to 8 weeks. I know of AT LEAST One that is at 7 weeks and holding. SO EXCUSE ME, but I want a real answer with a person brave enough to identify their creds.
I understand your frustration (some others that have been here as long as I have will tell you I am also frustrated), I don't believe you're presenting your frustration in the best way. And I say this as someone that rightfully was called out by @kdryden99 about 18 seconds ago in another thread for being a bit of jerk in that thread. ;)

As others have said there are multiple Ford employees, including @trutolife27 , who have worked very hard at telling us as much as they can on here. Ford as a company has not done a great job - and again I've been critical of their communications on here (not as much as others) - but going after the Ford employees choosing to volunteer what they can is not going to win you friends.

I see your join date isn't THAT long go so you might not have been aware of the employee connections - but now you are. :)

So to quote my wife (who is the ultimate recipient of this car) "Tell me why it is delayed and will I and my Grand Kids be safe in this vehicle?" She is also wondering why we were in such a big hurry to put our deposit down (#4367) when apparently it did not matter a whit about when we would see the car. Should probably mention she is a big SpaceX fan.
Sounds to me like your life will be miserable if you make her drive this car with all those questions. You are bound to get more and they will keep on coming.

And then throwing Space X into it too? I think she is trying to tell you something.

Ok, I have listened to all of the noise and angst, now tell me why it is a secrete and customers are not worthy of an explanation.
Actually there was a pretty good logical thought posted about that very thing in the forums here. The logic went something like this:

If Ford tells us what is/was wrong then everyone will always worry about that thing: Are you sure they fixed the blinker fluid problem
You provide a very good case in point: Because Ford had some issues with the batteries on the Kuga you're already transferring/worrying about those issues on the Mach-E (wether warranted or not). Ford made a BEV back in 2012+ and, as far as I know, not one of them had a battery fire (at least mine never caught on fire and neither did my coworker's or any of the other Focus Electric owners on this forum).

Thus it is probably a good thing that Ford is not telling people about the problem with the flux capacitor; apparently something happens past 88 mph and they can't get it to stop.

Probably right. Yes , the MME is turning out to be good for Tesla's business. I hope she settles for the MY and not the new MS.

As a plaintiffs attorney, I’ve had concerns about why they won’t tell people. But then it also occurred to me it could be a quality control issue. Either way there are contracts involved with vendors that include confidentiality clauses to protect against an overreaction by the public. Either way these contracts contain clauses that were not privy to and can affect messages and how issues are handled.

If you are truly worried about safety, you shouldn’t drive at all actually. Automobiles are the leading cause of death in America. (https://www.cdc.gov/transportations...w.cdc.gov/motorvehiclesafety/costs/index.html)
