Has anyone gotten an update on this yet? My car is still sitting at the dealer, waiting for the fix. They ended up giving me a loaner, but this is annoying. The sales manager told me that he heard the latest was the week of July 4, but no clue if that has any basis in reality.
I’ve seen some people on A Mach e forum on Facebook showing communications from their dealer reaching out advising they can schedule their appointment for the recall fix. Not sure why all dealers don’t seem to have the fix.

If it’s on Fakebook, it has to be true!

It just came out like Friday afternoon. Most service departments aren’t open on the weekend.

And even if they did have the fix available, they are going to work on getting all the 2025 on the lot done first so they can sell them.

It’s also unclear right now if the fix only works on 2025 or it’s available for all model years. But even if it is, dealers probably won’t want to take in customer cars for the fix until they get their inventory ready to sell so they’re not going to advertise it or proactively call owners to bring their car in yet.

I mean people showing screenshots of text messages from their dealer reaching out to them to get it scheduled for it. You automatically think it’s fake because……..?

I don’t automatically think anything. I am skeptical.
If there was a fix, there would be communication from Ford.

1) Many dealers communicate "recalls" that aren't recalls, simple CSPs or similar, because they get REVENUE from service calls. Some promote mobile service because they get MORE REVENUE for those.

2) Many Facebook users have no idea what they are talking about.

3) Service departments are usually way behind on knowing when something exists.

4) When a fix exists, the people here with FDRS see it and post it. Until I see that, it is likely fake news.

Any confirmation on this?
As announced this morning (in the full release of the recall notice in OASIS) the fix for '25 MY vehicles is available now.

'21-'24 MY software will be available in "Q3" and until then those vehicles are not authorized repair under this recall until that time.

My car is due in next week and dealer just told me recall will not be a problem!
Software is available for '25 models at this point. So you should be G2G after they do the update.

It's the people with older cars (21-24) that are still affected......like the '23 Mach-E GTs that remain unsold on my dealer's lot...(locally we refer to them as the "three amigos" since they all arrived on the truck the same day over a year and a half ago, and are still sitting there).

I had a deposit on a 2025 Glacier Grey GT. They patched it Saturday morning and I went in and finished the deal and have it at home

oh. And I absolutely love it. Finding all the errands I need to run. One at a time. LOL

even came out of a shop and someone was snapping a photo of it. Never had that happen before. I just stepped aside until she was done.

one question. with the patch done by dealer, should I (or they) reset the BCM or whatever it is called on an EV?

This is what I'm waiting for, and I suspect it will be well broadcast on here when it is available.
