Sent an email to the Internet Sales Manager at the dealership yesterday afternoon. Explained the whole order history and difficulty getting any updated or detailed information. She replied today and shared a screenshot of their tracking tool, which shows my car is now at Ramp 6 Richards-Gebaur. This is a re-purposed, former AF Base, now a SmartPort for Kansas City Southern rail shipping between US and Mexico. It appears the car is scheduled for truck transport to Louisville, then to the dealer. Delivery date has been re-scheduled from 2/4-2/10 to 2/28-3/6.

Based on the tracking information she shared, the car left Cuautitlan on 1/19/2022 and arrived in KC on 1/28/2022. The KC to Louisville leg of this journey is estimated to take another 4 weeks. I was thrilled to finally have some helpful, detailed information from someone at the dealership.

Four weeks? Are they pushing the car to Louisville???

I just called Ford Customer Care and they verified I'm still on a chip hold. My window sticker is now showing up after being down for several weeks, so I guess that's progress. I got hopeful seeing some of you alternate between chip hold and shipped. Mine never changed from "in production."

No. I called 800-334-4375 and the lady I spoke with said that since i'm paying cash they have a certificate worth up to $2250.

If you go with their option package they give you 2500, at least here in NY they do

Mine is cash and that’s what she told me has a $2550 discount certificate. I sent it to my dealer but he hasn’t responded yet.

2/11. It's been in production since 1/6 so I doubt that will be correct.

A quasi lease . Basically a loan with a balloon amount at the end of 3 or 4 years, at that point you can buy the car for the balloon balance or turn it back in and not owe the balloon amount. The balloon amount is dependent on miles driven .

My dealer did a VVR for me a while back; mine also doesn't show a chip hold, but it does show as "sent offsite". Which is probably worse because who knows what I'm waiting on.

I called Ford Marketing and here in Florida no such certificate/offer. But I did learn something interesting for folks like me who had MY21 order rolled by Ford to MY22. Remember the $750 discount detailed in Ford's order roll email (I received mine on 10-1-21)? Even though our orders qualified as they were prior to the offer's deadline of 1-3-22, I was told our dealer has to extend the offer by calling 800-548-3212 (dealers only). So I told my dealer to do so.

Welp, finally got into the Ford Order Tracking and got the news that I'm officially a May delivery (from 2/23). Batch 3316, Ordered 10/1, Production Date 1/3. Well, I guess I don't have to worry about snow and salt for this year.
