I called Ford Marketing and here in Florida no such certificate/offer. But I did learn something interesting for folks like me who had MY21 order rolled by Ford to MY22. Remember the $750 discount detailed in Ford's order roll email (I received mine on 10-1-21)? Even though our orders qualified as they were prior to the offer's deadline of 1-3-22, I was told our dealer has to extend the offer by calling 800-548-3212 (dealers only). So I told my dealer to do so.

Not disputing what they told you, just don't understand why Ford is making it so hard for us and why they are not notifying everyone who go that offer. I got the offer too and it says nothing about expiring or having to renew it. "Place order or take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer's stock by 1/3/22. " My frustration is growing everyday as they continue to not communicate with us about a 3 month delay.

I called Ford's toll-free number today.

1) They mentioned my $750 credit which is on my account for the vehicle. They did not say it had to be renewed.

2) They did not see any special discount for cash.

Per Ford: Cuautitlan Assembly plant is at full production, 6,054 MME built in Jan 2022 with 2,370 sold. They're not saying how they define "built" or "sold", but we're guessing that "built" includes potentially thousands that are on "chip hold" or otherwise undelivered. I suppose there's no "smidgen" of information here on the subject we're interested in. It's really hard to see the true, big picture for MME production and deliveries. Also in this cited report, is "JAN 2022 GROSS STOCKS", MME-3,100. anyone know what this means? is it "built" but not completed?

Thanks. I agree that built likely means rolled off the assembly line rather than complete and ready to ship.

6,054 is consistent with averaging on the order of 1,500 per week, which is not inconsistent with the sum of our week's groups.

Cannot estimate from this how many units are short parts. The number reported sold is US sales, whereas the number reported built is total for the factory. Not all of those units come to the US. That number sold would also be vehicles produced in November and December, so the comparison to January built is moot.

If gross stocks = gross inventory then that would include work in progress as well as truly completed units that are still owned by Ford.

Conclusion: Ford Motor Company does a wonderful job obfuscating that they are working hard to alienate some of their most loyal customers.

Based on context and the SEC reports I've looked at, Gross Stock Units (a uniquely Ford term, BTW) is simply inventory available for sale. It would be nice to know the more exact definition, given the way ownership of inventory is defined by the automotive industry.

Those 3,100 stock units are the dealer's chance at fat profit, given the ADM opportunities on an in-demand, short-supply car like Mach-E.

gulp. Your signature dates are scaring the hell out of me. Seriously I need my car by mid-summer. I ordered in early October. I have to map out my Plan-B seriously. I'm beginning to hate this company.

I'm that guy. My GT will arrive at a small Norfolk Southern (NS) automobile transfer depot in Petersburg, VA and then be trucked the last 25 miles. Sadly VVR today provided no new info since 1/28, the day my car was transfered to the NS VOLTZ automobile depot N.E. of KC. My dealer thinks VVR is reporting the NS railcar number so I'll call the NS customer service/automotive number tomorrow for possibly more tracking info.
