Jeeeeeeeeesus. May 2021?!

Does anyone have a great dealer with lots of info about their built-in March car?
My info:
Order placed: 10/9/2021
Current Status: Built! 3/01/2022...was in production since 1/7/2022
Ford Site says "Estimated Delivery 3/18/2022 - 3/24/2022 " ??
Dealer says Early April 2022 (Yes I'm adding a year)
The car does not appear to have gotten on a train yet.
Chip "as-built" shows a fully built car report.

Yours is a 2021, or did it get converted to 2022? Mine's a '21, started its build 12/11, built 2/11, got the shipped email 2/14. Made it to Kansas City, not sure where the heck it is now.

Build week of 01/03/2022 #436/630
I received my built notification on 03/01/2022; however, I have yet to receive a shipped email. The tracking website updated to shipped yesterday, but the Ford.com website still shows in production. I just called Ford Marketing and the lady informed me that it is showing that the car is in transit with an ETA of 04/10/2022, and she was as confused as me about why I hadn't received the shipped email. Hopefully this ETA is correct!

I ordered in May of 2021 and it got converted to a 2022. Build week 1/3, built 3/5 and sits.

Ordered...sometime in June 2021? My spouse is actually the one with the emails so I forget the date.
Converted to 2022 on 9/27/2021
Build week 1/3, batch 3372, 365/630
Was part of the chip hold for awhile, then
Built 3/1/22
For a day or two it told us we would get our car in April, then we got another email stating that due to delays it was switched back to mid-late May, but this morning we unexpectedly got a shipped email saying it would be at the dealership 4/6-4/12!
What's worrying me a bit is, when I check Palsapp it still shows origin Kansas City, destination null, and status pending. Shouldn't Palsapp be a bit further along if it's going to be here in a week?

Yes. It should be farther along in the process. Mine was ordered last May. Built 3/5. No ship date yet.

I was in error and deleted my incorrect post. AOK 501789 is more probably one of the rail cars leased from Greenbrier Leasing. it turns out they got permission from Ark-Ok to use the AOK mark, and it makes more sense it would be one of those leased rail cars. Unfortunately, figuring out which company leased it is beyond me. I hope your MME arrives to you soon.

My experience was that it took 11 days from the ship date for my Mach to arrive in KC. Then nothing on Palsapp until my car was shuffled between rail yards. I think the only way to get any information at this point would be to contact your dealer and see if they would run a Vehicle Visibility Report. It shows stops along the way between Mexico and KC.

My dealer refuses to give me the VVR... and has the rail car number yet won't share it. Says the VVR reports are "proprietary." Pretty frustrated. Thanks to all of you, at least I can track it slightly through Palsapp. We have a shipped date of 3/26 so it should be in KC in a couple of days.

I have the same ship date. Would be curious if you learn any more. I’m planning to reach out to my dealer on Wednesday to see if they have an update.

At least you have ship dates, I got nothing since the build date other than someone in exec offices said my car is headed to me via boat. Not to be a total whiner on this but I have nothing official from Ford since my 3/2 build date.......

Anyone know how to contact a GM? I am in fear that my car will finally arrive when I go on a vacation that I booked before I ordered my car....My sales guy is VERY low on the totem pole!! I do have something in common with the GM, according to his Linkedin page. We are both big promoters of volunteering in schools..

I have a similar situation. No contact from Ford since a build email on 3/2. I don’t even have that ocean shipment hope. Ford.com still has my eta range as 3/28 - 4/3! BTW. I can’t even get salespeople at the dealership to return a call. Hope you can get to the GM.

Tell your dealer to either give you the full VVR, every freaking line, or you will murder them on the post-sale survey Ford sends out. Your satisfaction with their service as a dealer is proprietary to YOU. A little menace in your voice as fitting for a customer who has waited this long for a car might also help.

Just to let you know how things went for me. Shipped Feb 5th, arrived KC Feb 14th, trucked from KC Mo to KC KS (only info you will get on Palsapp) Mar 2, shipped by rail to Kent Mar 9 and arrived there Mar 30th. Should be on a ship to Alaska soon. Not saying this is the normal timing for shipping - just what I experienced. The rail time to KC does appear to be what most people experience. Just do not get frustrated if nothing pops up on Palsapp right away.
