I heard the Ford Options application is all digital. Is it same standard Ford Financing application on the main website?

Fingers crossed. I lucked into this “order” on 4 April as it was a dealer order but not in their system. I have a signed offer sheet (with pricing) and my deposit taken on that day. The dealer treated the order as though I had placed it and honored X-Plan pricing, too. I’m just hoping not to get burned too badly by current financing rates.

Ok so that's a bit of a different situation then. I'm not sure what that looks like within your dealer's Smart Vincent system (platform used to manage their orders and vehicle sales).

That's my experience as well. Don't think it means anything.

The window sticker for our MY21 and MY22 are only dated by their generation date, and never changed based upon what day I viewed, or as the vehicle progressed through the build+delivery flow.

They're tied together. If you placed your order through Ford.com, you'll get an email to complete the purchase process online. You'll be taken to complete the finance appliation, or can choose to use your own financing / pay cash.

When you complete and submit the Ford finance application, you typically get a decision in minutes. From there, that information is transmitted to your dealership for processing and finalization. You'll complete your purchase at the dealership with a few signatures on an iPad.

Your dealership must be upgraded to Ford's latest dealer software. I had bad luck where I was in a pissing match with a GM for our MY21 order and how to process the Ford Options plan to receive the incentives. I was lucky enough to get help from another Ford dealership GM, with photos, showing my dealership what was needed to get the process done.

At time of pickup, thoroughly inspect the vehicle and note body/paint damage or imperfection, and check the interior thoroughly. Also, install your own temp/permanent tag. My dumbass salesperson at first dealership used a larger 18V drill and chipped the paint on the lower edge of the hatch with the drill chuck. Insert rage here.

X-Plan discount should be 2% off of invoice minus a $275 administrative fee.

Also note that you should only pay $100 max in ‘doc fees’. My dealer showed a fixed $399 for those normally on their form but credited it back out in the sales price. So, that can be a good savings too.
I gave them X-Plan email with PIN as they were working up the sales and finace documents. I got mine through Experimental Aircraft Association membership. He asked for verification of that and I simply emailed PDF of member card.

Well, it also depends if the chosen dealership has a document/processing fee. If yes, it looks like this:

MSRP (vehicle price + destination delivery; aka your window sticker price)
Minus 2%
Plus $275 AZDX Plan Administration Fee
Potential Plus upto $100 dealer document/processing fee.

AZDX plans limit the dealership to charge $100 max for their document/processing fee.

How did you applied for Ford Options , is this something you're Dealer offered you as one of the Finance option or you applied on your own from ford.com site ?

Ask your Ford dealership if they offer Ford Options. Then, confirm this with the finance manager. From there, you can complete the Ford Credit Application on the website. You'll be assigned an application ID. You can reference this at the dealership.

Alternatively, you can complete this process when you get the email from Ford to complete your purchase online.

Salesperson needs to stick to what he does best (BS) put the drill down. I have heard some horror stories about body/paint damage. But I'm a little lost about examining the interior. Is there anything specific. Other than checking for any damage (I guess)?

I checked and it is in Roanoke VA (intermediate arrival), as of 7:15 am. So it travelled 150 miles east overnight. Now it needs to go south. Only 100 miles to the Greensboro rail yard and 182 miles to the CLT rail yard. Hopefully "intermediate arrival" doesn't last too long at these train stations as that is the largest time hold up it seems. I haven't heard much about these rail stations on these fourms.

So close.

Great news! We are so close to the finish line now!

Hopefully my dealer gets it tomorrow and can have it ready by Tuesday or Wednesday.
