Yes, I hope our cars will be getting the new HVBJB.
Still no modules for me.
No movement on mine yet today either, but I had my dealer check the hold list that's updated every Monday and thankfully my car isn't on a chip hold, so at least it's not that.

I ordered 2 cars from different dealers. One was part of the 5/16 build and the other 5/23. My 5/23 got pushed in April to 5/23 from 5/16. I’m in the 6133 batch and have no modules, no updates. Still showing in production.

The modules on my 5/16 car did take a while and didn’t show until 5/23. Now it’s showing shipped. That car was also in an early part of the first (presumed) batch. Others who had later batches and build numbers also got modules ahead of me, so idk how much all that matters.

It does seem like this one is taking longer. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing.

No official word yet, but I assume so. Dev_sec_ops monitored the part numbers and this new one popped up last week. But no one knows if that is really the fix. But a new part number half way through the model year is definitely something to obsess about, something we do really well here. ?
How do you tell what the new part number is? I have 2 cars ordered. One for the week of 5/16 which has shipped and one for 5/23. If the 5/23 has the new part I’ll pick that one!

Thanks for that insight, good to know. Has the module activation been known to be unreliable too?
I believe the software module list to be accurate. Just not sure when it happens within the production process. I assume towards the end of final assembly.

Thanks. I just read through a bunch of it. I’ve accepted to not worry about something that may never happen, but if I have a choice of two ordered cars but one has the new part I’ll gladly take the one with the new part!
I agree with you. But I also don't see the point in not demanding answers from Ford. This is a big f... deal!

I’m in batch 6133, and my dealer emailed me today to say he sees my vehicle in his inventory, and estimates 5-6 weeks for delivery. I haven’t seen any updates on modules or build status.

still no updates for those of us in 6103?

I don't have modules or see anything new on my end. Starting to wonder if this car will arrive before my 1 year order anniversary (8/24). Hah!

I’ll admit some of this process doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I’m also less confident in what your dealer is telling you than others may be. I work for an RV dealer and while I’m honest sometimes there’s wishful thinking and hoping. Other times by other people there’s just outright lies and assumptions based on stupidity.

5-6 weeks would make me think it’s basically ready to ship and I always thought you’d see modules before it gets shipped. Do you see any update in order track? My 5/16 order went for in production to awaiting shipment to shipped.

Is there any downside to hitting the activate now button in the fordpass app?

I don’t see any updates in order track. I agree that he’s probably making the 5-6 weeks up. I do think he’s telling the truth about seeing it in his inventory, but I have no idea what that means about the status of the car. Definitely not fully built though.

I agree with your assessment. I’m hoping this means we will be getting the new HVBJB part that’s been speculated.

I'll offer my impressions based on conversations that took place while I was waiting for my 2021 MME to be built and delivered:

Your activation won't actually work unless your car is powered "On" and there happens to be someone in your car at that moment who is willing to accept the activation request on the car's display. Without that, your effort will simply time out. But if your activation is successful, it will start the clock for the three years of Blue Cruse service that comes with the car. That would be a downside. On the positive side, it may give you access to occasionally see exactly where your car is during its transit in the US.

Anybody who has a different understanding is welcomed to jump in and correct me.
