I wouldn't be surprised if yours is sitting in the same train yard as mine a few miles from the plant and the only difference is the consistently inconsistent information provided by the system ?
Hah, I'd told myself that I would not do any more checking and just let it come when it comes but out of curiosity I hopped on chat support today too after seeing your post. Got the same information basically: "has recently been received at it's junction point in Laredo, TX. The ETA to the dealership is currently September 9-15." though I wonder where the huge difference in ETA comes from ? Still... good point, glad to hear that it's no longer just a few miles away from the plant and won't be sitting down there for multiple weeks (perhaps the multiple weeks wait will be at the destination train depot...)
Mine also coming to Florida and have a delivery window of Aug 30 - Sept 6th. Hoping mine made it to Texas as well
My ETA has been the same from the start, no change from built or either of the two times I got an 'update' that it was at some point along the path that was not the production plant.
Does ford’s online system shows as shipped or in production for you?
That gives me some hope. I was given a delivery estimate of Aug 19-25 once the car was built on July 25. However it’s listed as convoy and there’s been no update at all since I got the built email.
I’m in the same boat. My working theory is that every vehicle scheduled for the week of 7/25 was built, but only about half of them were shipped before the plant shut down. I’m guessing that the expected delivery dates that Ford chat is providing were all auto-calculated in advance as if they would ship on time.
This makes me wonder...I got the built and shipped emails only a few hours apart...first the night of the 27th and then early morning of the 28th. Both emails had the same ETA in them, which is the one still showing on my reservations page. There was about a week where my ETA disappeared but I showed up again yesterday unchanged.
yep exactly the same here, built on 7/25. Convoy to CA and no update with the same eta as you.
Yours wouldn’t happen to be going to ford store Morgan hill would it? Would make a rather funny coincidence I think.
