Update: I went ahead and just scheduled a tire rotation at this same dealer, $30 before tax. They didn't mention or recommend any other services to be done.

Dealership wants to charge $130 for the 10k maintenance for my mach e. Is this for real? I've seen other posts show $20 or $30. I'm in SE MI (Ann Arbor area). This is the dealer I bought the vehicle from, should I avoid them for this service?

Mine was $36; however, I am not sure they inspected the 12V system nor looked for updates? I would ask will they apply the updates if any for that price?

OPEN THE MANUAL.

That servicing is NOT what is on the list for 10,000 miles.

NO AIR FILTER CHECK OR REPLACEMENT
NO TEST OF 12V BATTERY
NO TEST FOR COMPUTER UPDATES, WHICH THEY AREN'T GOING TO PERFORM FOR FREE ANYWAY

They are supposed to look in FDRS for any recalls, notices, etc.

If that's Varsity Ford, I would be annoyed.

Ask them if they’ll include a screenshot from FDRS showing that they did all available updates.
It doesn't say they will perform the updates, just check for them. You might get them to do a couple quickies at that price, if you're lucky.

My 10k mile/16k km service was $69.30 CAD, so yours should be under $50 USD. The first service is a good way to use some of your FordPass points that you earned with the purchase of your MME.

It doesn't say they will perform the updates, just check for them.
It doesn’t even say that. It says they’ll test for them. I don’t even know what that means. Checking for them is free in the VIN checking thread.

Taking your EV in for 10k service, well under warranty, is a ripoff. Drive your car. If you’ve got an issue, take it in.
If you ever have to lemon the car or have any other lawsuit/warranty claim you're gonna want to do the services in accordance with the users manual otherwise you'll have an uphill battle. At the very least, with these heavy EVs, you should be getting the tires rotated at 10k. You have a duty to maintain the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer recommendation or accept the risks without doing so.

As for $130, that's too much. Around here it's $39-$59 for the 10k

I paid $18.50. The 10k service included a "multi-point inspection", "Quick Lane quality care inspection", and tire pressure adjustment, none of which they charged anything for. They recommended rotating the tires, which they did, for the $18.50 charge.
