Curious to hear what you folks are planning on using the plethora of 12v power outlets in your MMEs for? Typically I've used them in past vehicles for USB adapters for charging phones, but seems like there are plenty of those already in the MME.

And really not sure what the one in the cargo area is intended for, especially given that it only supports a maximum of 20A.

Someone needs to do a multi day camping trip with a cooler plugged into that rear outlet and report back.

I'm not sure - personally I don't own anything that I can plug into either of them, let alone both.

I have to say, I spent yesterday evening digging around the car looking for the 120V outlet I'm used to Fords having, and I'm really disappointed it isn't here. I guess I just assumed the Mach-E would have one. One of my biggest disappointments with the car so far.

I have a cooler that I plug in to the 12v socket in the back of my Kuga(Escape). When I get my MME I'll let you know

An important use case is to have a connector for a 120 VAC inverter :D it’s important to be able to plug in the bubbler for the koi pond!

Right, so only two 12v outlets. I'm not saying we need more, just that there isn't a plethora of them.
I suspect the OP is confusing 12v and USB as the same thing.

Run the air pump from the Tire Mobility Kit?
I think that is one of the main uses for the 12 volt outlet in the cargo area is the Tire Mobility Kit that Ford now supplies with many of their cars. My 2016 Focus had the same Tire Mobility Kit and Ford also started installing 12 volt outlets in the rear hatch of the Focus right around that time.

Yes, that's very logical to include an outlet near where the kit is stored.

Yup, air inflator. I use the 12v in my car all the time to fill all four tires.
And at such a high PSI, I imagine they'll need it often.

So far, I'm just using the front one for a cheap cig plug voltmeter so I can monitor the 12V battery charge, since some have had issues. A little extra piece of mind.
