On the bright side, if you keep the mobile charger in the trunk for emergency, only the 120v pigtail is needed.

Thanks, looks like I already posted on that thread (I have a poor memory). No problems here with the Emporia's on my end. Checked with my friends in Arizona and in Colorado, no issues there either. Not sure why some have it and some don't.
I purchased my Emporia EVSE on 4/15/2022 before they were UL listed. Didn't have any issues until about 6 months ago when the charger errors started. When I asked Emporia about it, they indicated it was the Mach-E. This year my local electrical utility started offering a ChargePoint EVSE for $300 with an extra $100 gift card if I signed up to allow them to turn off my charger during high use periods, I went that route. When I complained to Emporia again that it seamed to be a timing issue based on the difference in how the ChargePoint and Emporia operated, they refunded me.

We just bought our first ev. I did a lot of research in what we wanted. We got very lucky and found a 21 premium awd LR that we love. One thing that I did not check was the charging cable that came with it. I didn’t realize until we had it home that there wasn’t a 14-50 adapter in the bag. The previous owner must’ve forgotten to put it in. I asked our ford dealer that we bought it from and the found the part number. Just the adapter is $250. That’s almost the cost of the grizzl e system I’m looking at. Even on eBay used ones are over 120$. Any luck finding one at a better price? It’s such a small piece of the mobile charger.
As others have said, I would save the $250 and put it towards a better charger. Keep the existing unit in the car for 120V use in emergencies. I have a '22 MMe and while the charger works reliably, I have had continued issues with the charger dropping to 3kW. The dealer has been absolutely no help.
Other than that, I love the car. Congrats on the purchase!
