Dealer called to let me know the car was delayed and they had the second week of May as the new ETA. Apparently, there was little to no movement due to the holiday weekend. However, even if they stop for a 4-day weekend, how in the world does that translate to a 3-4 weeks delay!? crazy! I will try the ford chat.

Each day I call the UP line, the estimated arrival becomes a day later because it's just sitting somewhere. As of now says April 23 but I'm sure that'll keep pushing. It's just weird since it left Muncie at the end of March. Ford chat today told me ETA at dealer is April 29 - May 5. Of course last week it was last week.

Maybe call the dealer directly. I received a call from my sales guy that the car was delivered on Wednesday, and I picked it up on Friday.

I've been in touch with them. My sales guy who is good about tracking down info is off mon/tues so I'll reach out to him later this week. It was a black hole of info for them too the last couple weeks. But UP did finally provide an update today. The car is in "constructive placement" status as of last night. Google tells me that means it's arrived but the customer hasn't taken custody of it yet. So I guess it's at least in southern california at the rail depot now and just waiting to be unloaded.

Finally got offloaded in Mira Loma today. Hopefully it’ll be ready at South Bay Ford by this time next week.

Ford email to complete order arrived tonight….we may be near the end of the line. I wish I could just sort it all online like the email promises but old prices and old incentives won’t allow that…

I knew about how the system doesn't take into account price protection but it doesn't allow you to toggle on old incentives either? What a useless system.

has my deposit, has xplan and has options current offer. Doesn’t have the original price, options offer when I ordered, 750 for going 21>22, 750 from the state of CA.

I expect all will be sorted by the dealer.

Good to know. I was hoping to use the online checkout to speed things along. Seems like for 95 percent of orders this will be useless. I'm a January orderer but the original options offer (now inferior) is still a factor for me that I was hoping the system would be able to take into account.

And…..the journey is over! South Bay Ford was great. Got the price protection, xplan, full 2500 options incentive, 750 for the model year change. No issues at all. Just over 8 months from the original order. Now time to enjoy!

It looks great! I am hoping for as smooth an experience when my Mach-E makes it to Galpin hopefully this week. I just got "placed at industry" today.
