“… Ford Authority reached out to Ford for some confirmation, and EV Product Communications Manager Hannah Ooms has confirmed to Ford Authority that the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will not be receiving the same improvements in battery capacity or range as 2022 models.”

If true so weak

But it does make it look like 2021 MY GT/GTPE got the increase IMO. 2021 was suppose to get 250/235 but ended up 270/260 and has the same range as 2022. Just my guess.

I’m not yelling because the car I bought as sold to me functions as expected. I bought with no expectation of an increase in usable battery.
I'm yelling because Ford can't keep their story straight. Ever. First we get it, then we don't. I really don't care, but don't tell me one thing then another. Sick of this BS software, empty promises, missed deadlines, etc. I used to be patient, but now I'm annoyed. I get the struggle they're going through but it appears so mismanaged it honestly is unbelievable.

Don't get me wrong...I really do like the car though....most of the time.

Is it really Ford - or just shitty Internet “Journalism” - that’s the question we should be asking.

I mean when they quote an official Ford source... I agree the media likes to sensationalize things but Ford says what they say.

And suspicious as to its accuracy, anyway...

I searched before I posted. Happened around the same time. Tried to delete but I can’t figure out how.

They did quote someone, it’s not just “sources say”.
No worries, it happens. Thought I'd catch it early :)
I guess we'll see ... then again, it's only an extra 7 miles on the AWD model.

Yeah I mean I really hope it’s not true, even for just a small increase in usable capacity.

How do you delete a thread on here. I swear I’m not a noob I can’t find it.
