I figured they would do the same as they did for the 2022 Expedition, put it on the front page of Ford.com. Thanks to the forum and someone saying something, so I could go into the actual build and find that the 2022 were sorta, kinda, maybe, possibly, almost, just about, more or less, practically, near, close to, approximately...not quite ready to order on line.

Haha, I like your style. I see that you're a web developer. How much empathy have you mustered for the people at Ford today? I'm a network admin and I'm pretty damn irritated.

Does anyone has the same issue as me?
Yes. Repeatedly. I even tried different browsers just in case.

Is there a particular reason a Select with AWD and technology package costs more than a premium AWD standard battery when the premium has more add ons?

Also is there a point to the premium extended battery if the RT1 is cheaper with more range, now has AWD with more range, and is just missing the power liftgate, has a small headlight difference and has different wheels?

Really weird pricing here, especially with prices being increased right after the CEO publicly complained about EVs needing to be cheaper.

Using 2021 prices it does not:
Select AWD $45,595 + Tech package $3,200 = $48,795
Premium standard range RWD = $47,600
Premium standard range AWD = $50,300

The Rt1 trim does not have these Premium features:
  • Acoustic Laminate Glass – Front-Row Side Windows
  • Ambient Lighting – Multi-Color
  • Perforated ActiveX™ Seating Material
  • Front Door Scuff Plates – Aluminum Inserts with Pony Graphic and Unique Lettering
  • LED Projector headlights with LED Signature Lighting (the 3 vertical LED on the headlights and the sweeping front turn signal, Rt1 just blinks on the front)
  • B&O® Sound System by Bang & Olufsen® 10 Speakers including Subwoofer
  • Head Restraints – Four-Way Manually Adjustable Driver and Front-Passenger
  • 8-Way Power Passenger seat (Fore/Aft, Up/Down, Power Lumbar, Power Recline)
  • Hands-Free, Foot-Activated Liftgate (includes Power Liftgate functionality)
  • Wheels – 19" Machined-Face Aluminum with High Gloss Black-Painted Pockets

Currently 2022 prices on the website are Select AWD: $51,495, Premium Standard battery AWD: $50,800. Something is off there.

Oh the soundsystem, yeah that's a notable difference.
  • Acoustic Laminate Glass – Front-Row Side Windows
  • Ambient Lighting – Multi-Color
Huh, the website doesn't mention those at all, good to know. There are several of those options that aren't a big deal to be missing, the power liftgate is the other big one, mostly able to live without for a cheaper price. But okay there is enough here for the price difference, real thing is if they actually get that targeted 300 mile awd range on the Rt1, hard decision.

Yeah that’s not the right pricing that I see for 2022 Select. There’s been several posts on here about pricing discrepancies. I think the website is not updated properly yet.

For everyone having trouble with the site try deleting your cookies. It is probably also the fact that Ford is just really slow to update things but cleaning cookies or using incognito mode should help too!
