3.29.0 Fordpass update just released

Its strange you have to open the back passenger door before the front door... for me its the opposite. I have to open the front door before opening the back door. Looking forward to getting the 3.29 update when it's available for me.

everything works the way it should now with 3.29.0. Knock on wood!

Do you by chance have 'driver door only' selected in the unlock settings?

Well, since the spousal unit now drives my car full time and I am relegated to the Explorer I have not signed into FordPass for a few weeks. This thread inspired me to open FP this afternoon on break at work and check it over. Sure enough it works and look there the car is at the water park......Nice.

Just updated on Android. Still one phantom message. The last week or so when charging at home, I have it set to charge when plugged in to 90%. It keeps charging to 100%

I don't want to jinx things but since 3.29.0 everything seems to be working better than ever. I will likely eat those words at some point but I made 2 trips so far and I can actually open the driver door without opening the back passenger door first. I also disconnected the battery yesterday and that likely fixed it as well.

Disconnecting the 12v is the fix for the door issue. The app update timing is coincidental.

Does it behave the same with the fob? Mine did. If so, no app update will fix it. I’d try the 12v battery disconnect, that’s the fix for needing to open one door before another.

It's amazing how you can have release after release and all the "updates" you've got are adding SecuriAlert and moving Dealers button from one location to another. All the rest, obviously is under the hood - wherever that place is. If my Team's updates were as "significant" as Ford's in case of FordPass, our clients would question our existence and what more important, our paycheck , long time ago

I just downloaded 3.29.0 from the iOS App Store. It started fine. I'll see how it works in the car later today.

I believe it does. It appeared in my app after I received a notice in the car that it had been updated.

I had a miserable time this morning with the car. Would not open. When I used the door code. There was no key detected. Rebooted the phone and tried again. Nothing. Bluetooth connected. Ended up using the fob. CarPlay would not work either. Went to the store and when I came back out everything was fine.

Ford Pass sucks.

This crap is all useless on the Home Page. Get rid of it. No more scrolling.

With the lagginess of the app as-is, the scrolling to view *MY NEWS!!!* is aggravating, especially on the home screen.
