Should have been a red flag when transmission flush was on the list and they took it off. They claimed this is what ford recommends at 30k
In 2022, I took my MME in for an inspection and they said the 30k mile service includes fuel injector cleaning and throttle body cleaning.
I told the advisor it is an EV it does not have a throttle body or fuel injectors, he looked me straight in the eyes and asked "are you sure?"

At another visit, with the same advisor, there was some warranty work that needed to be done and I had an appointment, dropped of the vehicle and after almost a week of nothing happening, they told me the person that was supposed to work on my car was on vacation when I dropped my car off and that's why nothing was done on the car.
I guess they just thought I would not mind my car sitting there for a week with nothing being done to it.
After chewing out the advisor for being so stupid, the manager told me he was one of their best advisors.
I stopped going to that dealership

I chatted with ford online and they recommend I go to another dealership to get a second opinion. I did inform this reflect negatively on the brand that dealerships are giving out conflicting information.

it is what it is

this is a great youtube (a bit lengthy) but from a mechanic/tech that worked for mercedes and subaru dealerships, explaining why dealerships suck, from a mechanic's and customer's perspective, including why service advisors are really just salesman.

and that the structure of how they pay mechanics/technicians and service advisors, can lead to crappy stuff like this to happening...

one of the reasons i bought an EV was to minimal maintenance (and reason to go to a dealership)

That’s the problem the told me straight to my face this is what for recommends
NO, the problem was you did not read the manual and KNOW what should be performed... :)

people really need to go into those appointments with their phones or go pros recording the conversations...

I approved it but had a sick stomach as I walked away from the service counter so called another dealer who I trust about 1.5hours away to get a quote on 30k service. $64.95
keep in mind, starting with 24 or 25 the manual now doesn't list any replacement intervals for fluids, now it's purely inspect and replace as needed.

I have had arguments with lousy service advisors enough times that I’m enough of a smartalec now I’d have said only if he could show me the throttle body and fuel injectors on my EV.

erm… The 2024 and 2025 HTML version manual online still lists three fluid intervals. Brake at 3yr, 10yr/150k miles EDA fluid, 200k miles yellow coolant.

did they remove brake fluid from 3y at some point?

i saw the screenshots that showed it, so i asked my dealer to do it last month when i went in, but their systems didn't show it as part of maintenance and refused to do it. when i pulled up the maintenance schedule from my fordpass it indeed wasn't on there anymore...
For some reason, I don’t think it ever showed up in FP, but it’s always been in the manual. The FP schedule was (is) strictly showing mileage intervals, no durations, so there was no place to list the brake fluid change.

the 24 pdf manual doesn't list any of that. PLUS if you go to the link posted on ford.com, plug in a 2024 mach e vin you get a run down of what's done at all service intervals. It's all visual inspection and replace as needed. This is essentially the same service listed at 10k mile intervals. It doesn't change until out to around 100k.

here's what happens at your 10,000 miles checkup
  • Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness or drag.
  • Inspect cooling system level and strength
  • Inspect tires and check tire pressures.
  • Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, drive shaft and U-joints. Lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
  • Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake linings, hoses and parking brake.
  • Perform multi-point inspection.
  • Inspect half-shaft boots.
  • Rotate the tires, inspect tire wear and measure tread depth.

not in the pdf manual starting with 24 model year, as mentioned all the service 10k intervals are essentially the same until you get out to 100k or so.

The revised maint schedule starts at 426 in the pdf manual

Lesson learned thinking the dealership would be an easy visit. Glad i pulled the car to gather more info before moving forward.

it wasn't in the dealer's servicing platform either though. i watched the guy do it: he enters my VIN and mileage, the system spits out the servicing that should get done, and brake fluid wasn't on there. so then as a result he understandably refused to do it [as part of my pre-paid servicing plan].

it's also not here: https://www.ford.com/support/maintenance-schedule/, which is what my online owners manual links to (i don't know where tomato's pictures are from, i don't see that in my manual)...
