Interesting that you were able to activate the vehicle in FordPass.. Usually, the system won't allow that until you've taken delivery of the vehicle and will give an error message.

I actually got the idea from the MachE subreddit, apparently tons of people are doing it. Which is incredibly unsafe - All you need is a VIN and a distracted factory worker to gain full access. Definitely something that Ford should be looking into because how it's supposed to work makes sense, but it's definitely not working that way as of today.

Interesting update for the 5303's still in production - I requested activation in ford pass a couple weeks back, on the off chance a worker would accept so I could better track it on its journey. Sure enough just now got the notice that the request was accepted so someone has gotten into my car today. Not much of an update but it's the first of any movement I've seen in 6 weeks. Also nice that I can track the car via GPS once it finally does ship.

And just as a note, it does start your 3 year access to bluecruise/nav as others have said.

I had the same thing happen. When your MME actually ships, you'll lose the ability to track and the fordpass will reset. I think they pull the fuses and the car is hard reset before shipping. Good luck!

I think we have almost the exact same process going. Same car GT non PE, just diff color and mine was ordered 1/13/2022.

So Ford Chat finally came through! After two weeks of marinating at Ramp 6P with zero updates, today I checked in with Lakeisha and finally got a rail car number on Norfolk Southern. When I punched in the numbers on their automated system, I was given a location of Dawson, Illinois (pop: 509), which is about 300 miles east of KC. So, some progress. I looked up Dawson, IL on Google Maps and found this truck stalled out on the tracks. I assume that my train blasted through it.

Yesterday I got moved from Ramp 6R to Ramp 6P. What does that mean? Who knows?!

In my mind I'm trying to convince myself that others have already been waiting at 6P for several days, so maybe they moved me over there to sneak my car on train leaving today at the last minute. Of course, I completely made all that up, but I'm sticking to it.

I'm looking in some of the newer build week threads and seeing GTs being built and shipped (confirmation emails and all). This lack of communication from Ford is ridiculous. I wish Ford Chat could explain why our vehicles are not showing as built and have not shipped yet? A simple confirmed reason would reset my expectations at least.

Just got the call that my Mach E is at the dealer here in Huntsville, AL.

Batch 5272 111/300 for reference.

Hopefully will be picking up this evening or tomorrow at the latest.

How long did it take for your Mach to get from Kansas? Was it Rail or car hauler? Mine is headed to Mobile so that's further than Huntsville but just curious.

Something is going on with our cars currently. They've moved mine both yesterday and today. Now whether that is to finish it up, or if it's to move it out of the way so that later builds can continue to pass us, who knows at this point.

One example I remember, they ordered March 8th, and got the built email this past Monday. I don't recall the others, but I was looking in the 5/2 and 5/16 threads.
