This is how I picture my car....

streetcar-train.gif

It worked! I'm on a train! Yes, I chatted with them twice in one day. Stop judging me.

Surprisingly, they knocked a full month off my delivery estimate between this morning and this evening. This morning it was July 1-7. Just now they said it'll be at my dealer June 6; which is less than a week away. I went from thinking the estimate is too pessimistic to thinking it's too optimistic. Not sure how it'll get all the way to the east coast in that time.

How long did it take for your Mach to get from Kansas? Was it Rail or car hauler? Mine is headed to Mobile so that's further than Huntsville but just curious.
I honestly have no clue. I got the email on May 9th saying it had shipped. Didn’t reach out to ford chat to ask about where it was until May 19th and at that point it was already in MO according to them. Arrived at the dealer on Memorial Day and I picked it up that evening.

Still feels like a dream or like I was given the wrong car especially seeing no one else receive a delivery yet from our week.

This was originally my week....but then got pushed to build week 4/18.

Just got off Ford chat and the car is in MO and has an estimated delivery date of 7/1.

Originally, or two weeks ago, they said 6/6. FML

Seems there has been some additional progress over the weekend. I couldn’t quite make out the first few words of the automated Norfolk Southern message but after searching google using Norfolk Southern and some terms I could hear it appears my car is at the Doremus auto terminal in Newark NJ. I guess it has to wait for a truck to take it to the dealer. Could be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks I gather.
The above was from Sunday. Just spoke to my dealer who said that yes, my MME is in Newark but that it was in lot (ramp?) 4C which is different from the usual ramp in Newark from which cars come to him in a few days. He was wondering if it is being held there for a chip--he said he's had a GT there for a few week. Ugh. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

So I emailed my dealer (Walnut Creek Ford) and they called me back. They confirmed my car is still in Mexico (according to its last update which was my production date), but their system still says delivery is expected June 11th - 17th. So they assume the system will update once that time period passes.

A lot of good that does me, but hey it's information I guess.

As far as they know it says in Production. There have been no updates since 4/19.
I am so curious how much longer our cars will stay in this status... Will it change tomorrow? Next week? Next month? I feel like all options are equally possible ?excuse me while I go crazy waiting for any sort of update to the system

My last update from the dealer was the same as yours, in production 4/19, except my expected dates are June 5th to the 11th.

OK, I have a confession to make. I might have called the Norfolk Southern automated line more than once today. Turns out they do a very nice job of frequently updating the location of the railcars.
I'm finding it very difficult to not call the tracker 20 times per day!

My car is on a NS train and the last update was 25 hours ago. Does that mean the rail car is still at the location or just maybe not updated? It's in Conway, PA. the ordertrack does not have any info at all. So I assume the coder's API call does not work with Norfolk Southern?

Exact same spot on the line as you. In production 4/19, expected date june 5-11. They're currently charging my car for the first time since it came off the line, maybe the final step before the fuses are pulled for shipping? We could be close.

Does the app tell you the car is charging at the station in Mexico?

Big railyard-- your railcar is sitting/getting shuffled around as NS creates new trainsets for various destinations. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.667434,-80.2481936,1913m/data=!3m1!1e3

My car spent two days here, but was in Newark, NJ (the final stop on rail for my car) within 24 hours of moving again.

Also, ordertrack doesn't tap into any systems except the shop.ford tracker and Palsapp. Now that Palsapp is no longer accessible, it's really just giving you the same info that the shop.ford tracker is giving you, which is not much.
