My dealer finally got VinView up and running. I stopped asking a couple of weeks ago so was surprised by an update today. I did try one more time to ask to be added for text updates, but he ignored that request in his reply - I'm okay with that - baby steps and hopefully I no longer will have a need to try to figure out what is going on. Next up, head to the dealer to try to talk to the GM and tell them Spectre said they are a "Shady Dealer" if their policy - as relayed to me by the internet sales manager - to not honor price protection is true.

Thanks. Already have both in my toolkit and printed out for my trip to the dealer. Also have a random Word doc (I'm guessing copied and pasted from a forum post) with things like "contact the VOPC (Vehicle order processing center) they can confirm it. The dealer can also search "Price Protection" in the "Dealers Ask Ford" section with their dealer extranet (FMCDealer)." I've spent the years-long wait saving helpful tidbits (i.e., how to disable the horn on locking - I'd hate that) and any and everything price protection related - the price increase was the main driver in why I finally pulled the trigger Dec. 2 after vacillating the whole year prior.

11/21 update: 9/12 build week. Built 9/14. Grabber Blue GTPE. Finally movement. This morning 10 AM car is at convoy ramp. Muncie Kansas. Made it across the river from Richard’s Gebauer Mo. Delivery window is 12/19-12/24. Jack Cooper is the delivery company. Looks like the car will be making the 950 mile trip back to South Central Texas by truck instead of like last trip by rail.

Man, that is so frustrating to hear!

Is there a chance you can drive down to the dealership in person and have them pull up vinview for you, you can even walk them through how to add your phone number to the notification system. Not a immediate solution bit at least you would get to personally confirm the cars whereabouts.

Yes, they are very nearby. As it happens, I've been thinking along those lines. The rub is that there apparently is no update to any Ford tracing system, VVR or VIN View since 9/27

@Bigfeets - not sure if you know this, how is it possible to find out if there was something wrong with the car and perhaps they are not delivering to the dealership? my car is stuck in Indiana somewhere and typically it would be a quick turn around from there to where I am.

Happy Thanksgiving to all on this thread. Especially to the few of us left who still haven't gotten our cars. I've had a Jack Cooper transport tracking number for weeks now. I truly believe that there is a bad disconnect between Ford and it's shippers. Ford has washed their hands of my car pretty much saying that it'll ship when the transport company decides to pick it up. Tomorrow through Dec 1st is my new window that was pushed from earlier in November. Will it delay for a third time? Who knows? Good luck to the last few here over the next few weeks.

It took 66 days for the Mayflower to cross the Atlantic, bringing Pilgrims to the New World. I am now at day-72 of "shipped status" of my MME 51-week-old order. Chat just stated that my MME order left Muncie, KS 11/24 on Union Pacific, rail car TTGX697666. Delivery ETA window to ramp CH27, Mira Loma stands at 11/27-12/3.
I hope you're MME was worth your wait.

(Ford has now taught me to expect another unexplained extension of the delivery ETA in the middle of the current delivery ETA. So, on or about 11/30 I'll be looking at my Ford.com account to see if they push the delivery ETA to Christmas or after.)

I am really sorry to hear that there are no news, I don't understand what is going on. I am really happy with mine, worth it!
