Well, finally the railcar made it do DFW, took almost 18 days.....

Nope, Vinview I assume the ford system will update in a bit, I actually was able to track the railcar via the CSX phone number that I think @minders posted here, and knew it should arrive about the time the vinview update came through

Oh awesome! Was yours a CSX or TTGX #?

Mine was CTTX which I think is a CSX owned railcar. Normally bnsf is difficult to track... but csx cars theres at least the phone # available.

If it's the rail companies, then they decide how long the cars sit there. With a strike, it's stuck even longer.

Yeah I think its the rail companies. Hopefully everyone from the 9/19 build week will get their cars before the strike. I think the ones in Texas are some of the last and most should be delivered soon...

@Atxsw & @minders thanks! I had tried to track it earlier using that phone number Since November 6 without any luck. It is a BNSF # per chat startting with TTGX. I called it today and it automagically worked! Possibly on the same trail, it made it Alliance Texas today around 12pmish. Possibly the same car as you @Atxsw?

Yeah probably on the same train from Kansas city to Dallas. Vinview updated yesterday that it arrived but I got another update today I assume it means it was unloaded and scanned today.

I had the hardest time getting the tracking system to recognize the rail car using voice. Apparently they don't recognize TTGX (it hears TGX). I ended up having to use the dial pad to type each letter.

I just kinda spoke like a computer voice and it was able to get mine
