From a few years back, first time I changed the filter in the Fiesta. It's misshapen because it was pretty difficult to remove (really tight spot just above transmission tunnel). I had a black lab at the time. Can't speak for the Mach E filter, but my F-150 filter that I keep a Motorcraft spare for says "Dust and Pollen Filter" on the box.
I would call it a Type of HEPA filter, MERV unknown, because HEPA filters come in numerous specs.
Sure, but lots of other brands make compatible filters. Some of them have deodorizers.Same filter as the Escape/Bronco Sport/Corsair/Explorer/Aviator, particulate matter only, not an odor filter.
Yup. This is one of the first things I checked when we got access to the owner's manual. I am very pleased that this will be an extremely simple maintenance item.Owner's manual on the filter:
Right, my point is that the one that comes in the car will be a particulate filter, so those that want more will have to go aftermarket as you note.Sure, but lots of other brands make compatible filters. Some of them have deodorizers.

Anyone test this? For those interested in an odor filter upgrade, since the filter is common with a bunch of other Fords and Lincolns, the Lincoln Aviator offers an odor filter for 2021 I believe, Motorcraft Part# FP90. Should work in our cars too.
BumpBumping this to see if anyone's had luck with a replacement air filter. Looking to replace ASAP because my allergies are super sensitive to air quality.
