Totally agree. The motion sensor setting is unrelated to the inclination sensor alarm. I was on a BC Ferry with software version 6.3.0 (motion sensor turned off) and the inclination alarm still goes off multiple times due to the vibration. I'm so peed off about this I wrote a letter to the president of Ford Canada demanding they give the user the option to disable the inclination sensor. No response of course. I do have one tip that at least relieves you of having to run down to the car multiple time. You can use the Fordpass app to remotely unlock and re-lock the Mach-E when the alarm goes off - assuming you're in cellular coverage. This stops the alarm.

Well, I can confirm the inclination alarm can not be turned off. I tried the recommendations in this thread.
1. Park
2. Turn off motion sensors.
3. Get out of car, close door, press LOCK on Fob.
4. Walk away.
An hour into ferry ride the inclination alarm triggered.

and my software is at 6.4.0

How did you turn off the motion sensors?

And did you come back to the vehicle again at any point before the alarm triggered?

Something seems to have changed because I think the alarm would have gone off in the first 5 mins of the ferry bobbing around if it wasn't initially disabled. So why did it last a whole hour?

Under Settings/Vehicle/Alarm

there is an option to turn motion sensor on or off. I switched it from on to off.
Then immediately turned off vehicle and departed.
Walked away, went up one level, and walked to opposite end of ferry.
never came back to vehicle.
Pressed unlock in Fordpass. Then pressed lock.
Inclination alarm triggered immediately.
unlocked and locked again through Fordpass. Inclination triggered again.
walked back to vehicle and sat inside for duration with ignition on. No further inclination triggers.
But yes, it took a full hour of sailing before inclination triggered the first time.

OK thanks for details. Wonder if it times out or something dumb.
