@kennelh - Thanks for all the hard work and love the widget. Quick question, I am one of the lucky few that are stuck at 1.7.1, and is currently at the dealer getting this fix applied. Unfortunately I have very little confidence in the dealer (admittedly it could be completely unfounded). When checking the OTA Update Info I get "Status is unavailable". So I am wondering if they did apply the fix and it cleared out access. The widget seems to be about 9hrs behind from last update. Does that sound possible?

I can't speak from experience about what happens when the dealer installs the updates, but the "Status is unavailable" message is displayed if the info pulled from Ford's servers contains no OTA update information. I'd recommend asking someone in this thread to check which modules have/have not been updated.

I have several widgets on my phone so I am embarrassed I didn't make the connection and needed remedial Android help. Anyway, here is what it looks like on my phone. Great work @kennelh!

I have the exact same issue, but my update has failed two times so far. So the fact that you are getting this response in not an indication one way of the other that it was successful, just that during the update either it can't access this info or because of the update the OTA info gets wiped. Hope you have better luck then me?

Thanks to the both of you. I was able to have someone on another thread run my vin to see what is is still needed. It seem that all the remaining things are related to the Blue Cruse update that they are applying today. So lets see, fingers crossed. :)

Right.....

I want the easy way out but if push comes to shove, I am sure it won't be hard......

Honestly I have not looked into it while modding my MME......LOL

Add me to the "Status is unavailable" I have not had any service work done. Only thing I have done in the last few days was a Sync reset because my Android Auto wasn't working for some reason (reset fixed it).

Maybe it means I have OTA incoming or something....I don't know.

Version 2022.04.29 just uploaded. There are a lot of changes, most that you won't notice (hopefully). The main ones you will notice are described in the change log.

I've attempted to make the app import your old data automatically once it starts. Should it crash instead, then (a) please send me the saved logcat crash file and (b) clear the app's data/cache and do a clean install.

I tried installing and then uninstalling the old app and installing the new version again. The App Version under settings still says 2022.02.11. Is that right?

Edit: I had to delete the data and cache and then uninstall/reinstall the app, as you recommended, and now I have the correct version date.

I've open a poll in a new thread to avoid clogging this thread. I'd appreciate any input.

Anyone else have issues with remote start through the widget? Whenever I have issues I typically think it's user error first, so I figured I'd ask on here 2nd.

Version 2022.05.12 just uploaded. The changes are described in the change log. I wanted to make everyone aware of my plan to release a version of the app (still free) on the Google Play store in the next one or two weeks. The only internal differences between the versions will the Google Play version won't have checks for app updates (since that will be handled automatically), the package names will be be different, and the icon will display a different vehicle.

Once the app is officially up on the Google Play, I'll either post here to make it known and/or put a link in the change log.
