Anybody else agonizing over color choice?

My favorite red color on the market is Mazda’s Soul Red Metallic. The first time I saw that color, I seriously thought about changing my choice to RR.

I think rapid red and infinite blue are similar in the sense that just how vibrant or colorful they are is going to depend upon lighting. Just my 2 bits worth.

Bill, I saw the RR and IB at two different Tour stops. One location was deep inside a covered garage. The other location was in the sun. I loved the RR in both settings, but only loved the IB in the sun. I changed my color from IB to RR the next day. I believe I showed photos in both settings in the Tour posts - not sure I could find them now, don't want to look through 80 thousand posts... If I find the photos I will PM you.

Yes, it’s a really stunning color.

i also like Volvo’s red but that one is more on the orange side.

I’ve yet to see RR on the Mach E but that is what I ultimately went went. Hoping it delights as much as these aforementioned reds.

I have wanted to see the Carbonized Gray and Infinite Blue side by side since my Mach Drop order. Got my wish today. The gray is much darker than I thought it was. Parked my Magnetic Escape right next to the Explorer and it’s nearly identical. I’m happy now. ?

Yes I considered white as well. I wanted pure white and looked at Star White on an Explorer. It was nice but hard to tell on a diff car. The reality is I'm just not gonna keep it as clean as often as I should - which will make some on here mad at me . So Grey or IB. My wife thought IB was both cool and would hide dirt well. Sold. I've also liked seeing the Space White shots. Scan the color club threads, choose, and be confident. You'll be really happy.

Stopped by Encinitas Ford to see Star White and was surprised to see Star White, Silver, IB and Red. Late day shots so not much sun. I have seen all these and C Gray in person. Would be happy with any.

Exactly my situation - I saw both, Infinite Blue and Rapid Red in Nor Cal on two occasions under very bright sun and in the evening with no sun. Rapid Red looks fantastic under bright sun - whatever pictures we see where the color looked washed under a bright light, I think those cameras have issues with a lot of light - I actually liked RR much more under the bright sun. Infinite Blue also looks great under the sun and I liked it much much less with no bright light. The last time I saw Mach E in both colors (IB and RR) with my whole family - it was very sunny and all my family members said - RR - and that is what I ordered (originally I ordered IB though but had to change

I really like IB...have an order but decided to get an earlier order via MachDrop for a FE. Only three color choices. Before the order was scheduled I changed the order between all three colors Grey, RR and GB. Thats how finicky I was. Eventually settled on rapid red but still think if CG would have been better (neutral color no one will notice the color, sort of safe color); or GB (unique, looks cool but too bright and least liked color by my kids). Oh well ....not the end of the world right..

I was fretting over the colour and I liked Infinite Blue (I call it Jeans Blue). But then I told the family about the car and the 3 year old said he wanted a red one. My wife liked Rapid Red, too, so that's what it will be. I pick the car, the 3 year old picks the colour. Easy!

I still think star white looks pretty kickass. That's what I ordered.

Re hiding dirt, I've never found that dark cars hide dirt any better. They just look like dirty dark cars to me. But a clean white car can freakin' shine! My tri-coat white on my 11yo FFH still look great.

The only other possibility for me is RR. I DO think it looks pretty in the pics all glossed up, but I remain hesitant. If I see one in the wild with a little bit of road grime on it and I think "that really pops" I might switch.

For those thinking worrying about RR, my wife thought it was a great color and she doesn't like red cars. Said the shade was very attractive.

We have the Space White. It's a little ambiguous -- white in the sunlight and grey in the shade. Not spectacular but nice IMO.

As for dark colors "hiding" the dirt: ? ? ? ? ? There is a reason why I can have any color I want ... if it's white.
