yep... It's sad how many people blame Ford or other automakers for the long delays from plant to dealer... it is the railroads...

Railroads are effectively run as monopolies with all the service indifference and insular management decisions that go along with being a monopoly.

Yah, no kidding - rail + chip shortages...

My first build was delayed 4 months for a chip shortage and then once it left Mexico, got derailed and burned during rail transport.

At least Ford expedited a replacement and honored the PCO and price protection rates...

I saw this in a few news sources. I know GM was struggling. My CR1 has been complete for a few weeks and no updates to shipping. All they can tell me is that it’s built and “may arrive 7/10-7/17”.

could be worse. We’ll see in a few weeks if it shows up or if I get a legit shipping confirm. I did see several others in my build week abandon and buy a Tesla.

Is it just the railroads in the US? My car was delivered super fast and I'm guessing it's bc I'm in Houston so it didn't have far to travel after it crossed the border.

Makes sense as railcars from Mexico go into Texas as their first depot for customs.
