Battery depletion

Recently the dealer did a bunch of updates to my 2021 Mach E and now it seems my battery is reporting significantly less miles. I usually charge to 90% and use to get 171 miles and now getting 145. Has anything changed with the reporting of the standard battery?

The update probably just reset your driving history. The predicted range is just a guess. No need to worry.

For what it's worth, my current predicted range at 100% SOC is 110 miles.

Yes. 21P22 has several things in it that would impact your displayed range.

- improved range in cold weather
- display range accuracy

The latter impacts the displayed range as it says. In addition, as stated prior, your driving history may have been reset. And/or the cold weather dropped the displayed range.

Of course, as has been posted many times, all that matters is the current miles per kWh that you're getting.

Yes. If you use it regularly, you can simply charge up to 90% each evening. That's what we do.
